well i am where i'm going. i'm dontown vancouver. it's ok here. a bit like the hospital without the nurses it's so clean. at least i am near everything. I will most likely travel in august for my birthday to see my sister and mom. My b day is in July but we are all busy

no bills what so ever. Canada has a very good health care system. i pay approx 50$ each pay cheque and it insures me for any health care i may need. i could have gotten extended coverage, and that would have paid for all meds as well. my current health care insurance covers me for physio and massage therapy which i will require. all in all i am very lucky. i know other countries do not have any sort of health care coverage. i am certain this would have cost over 200,000$ phew! God bless Canada and the Liberal party of Canada.who had the courage to institute the health care system back in the late 50's.

hi everyone. This is the beginning of the end of this ongoing saga. Today I am being discharged from the hospital. I hope we do not have to go past 10 updates. This morning i had my bandages replaced, and let me tell you it was some of the worst pain i have had yet. partly my fault for not bringing it to their attention that i had little medication in me. they gave me some too little too late. i cried like @@hxtr when he got corn-holed by @@Ruggerxi. any how, i will keep y'all posted on the developments. please keep me in your prayers. i need them now the most. LOC

small update, but big problem. it was not me pinky that is infected... it is my whole left hand! and I am left handed! please continue to pray for me. i need them more than ever now.

Great news! i have decided NOT TO GET THE SKIN GRAPHS AT THIS TIME; it is possible to revisit later, with no penalty to me, with the exception i might be put on a wait list. so.... having made that decision, I will be discharged from the hospital this Friday! i still do not know exactly where I will be going, but I am actually trying to fly to my Sisters and moms place near Toronto, Ontario. I am hoping I can do this as I still have some healing to do on my left hand. I just noticed my left pinky is infected, and the nurse is coming to kiss it better i will keep y-all informed as to what i am up to. And of course my continuing saga. God Bless you all! LOC

well it is what it is. all I can say is that I'm not looking forward to it so in 10 minutes they r gonna put me in a bath andff the bio-brain stuff that itself is going to be painful I have no doubt. Then the doctors going to come and look at all of my wounds. and determine where they're going to need to do the skin grafts. obviously I'm not looking forward to it so please pray for me and pray that the pain is minimal and that the number of skin grafts would be minimal. sheesh maybe even gorilla is going to have a prayer to for me. well like I said it is what it is so in 2 or 3 minutes they will come knocking on my door . I'll give you guys a little recap after. I'm just hoping that it's a nice sweet nurse that's going to be giving me my bath! sheesh that's one way to keep me distracted for the pain

thanks Joe for posting those pics I really appreciate it. Um a bit of bad news everybody . I don't know how to say this but I just come out and say it. I will be needing some skin grafts and I'm not happy about it. It's this picture just with the hand that one's perfect it's okay it's going to heal. The other one you can't really see it but the top of my hand is not healing properly and my fingers he thinks is not healing properly which means we need to do a skin graft for those locations I'm not happy about this. that means more pain that means more time in the hospital I'm not going to get depressed about it you guys are really been helping me keep everything in perspective.
