My heart melts and I leave my in game family for my little angels, it’s just the way it’s got to be! Someday they will stop calling for Papa and instead think some biker JERK named Snake is way cooler! Oh yea I have something for Snake in my cabinet if Snake acts up, just saying? I love these cookies. Yes they have a nice lite ginger flavour, they are very lite but crispy. In Canada I buy these at Costco 4 package per box. very nice indeed

Home preserves are the best! My brother moved to Kemptville Ontario last month. So now I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Ontario!

Well I usually have very few tomatoes ripen on the vine. This year with all the heat and being able to pump water on my garden vine ripened tomatoes are a reality, 2020 a great gardening year!

@RobMc We also vacuum seal our steaks and chicken when it goes on sale.

I know, I know but what the hell else am I going to do play video games...........all day? We are going to do up Corn tomorrow. All this stuff comes out of my garden.

Well the Chow is sort of a pickled tomato. Not sure if that's what you mean. I've never seen tomatoes as a pickle around this part of Canada.

Yesterday we just bottle 20 pounds of green tomato chow delicious! I know I need to post the recipe for the beats but mama and I have been very busy now this week we have to do our corn. Glad I bought that pump and watered the garden. Been a great harvest this year!

I'll have my better half write it out and I'll post. I know she mixes vinegar, sugar, ground allspice, cloves, and cinnamon in the reserved beet juice and boils for 12-15 min. and pours that over the cut up beets we placed in the bottles Mason Jars. I love them Mmm!

Mrs Weed and I canned ( bottled) 38 bottles of green beans this week no picture. We also bottled up a bunch of pickled beets Mmm good! Talk about a lot of work. This is the way we celebrated 40 years of marriage lol. Wayne

This might very well be the result of Adam and Eve’s original sin? Men have been cursed! We have been thrown into the never ending tornado of the erection. This thing we call an erection! Upon discovering this curse we go through life seeking knowledge! What is this thing? What am I supposed to do with this? Where do I put it? Who can help with thing we call an erection? It is always with us, in our dreams, walking down the street, when the teacher calls us to the front of the class. It just keeps popping up seemingly when ever it wants. This thing at times seems to have a mind of its own, it controls our minds our thoughts our concentration. We can forget about it for a short time but it always comes back with it’s controlling ways. We try and suppress it but we are weak. We men are mere mortals doomed to carry this erection with us were ever we go. Knowing and living with this curse we must take matters into our own hands and beat this curse if we are to have any freedom. If for only a few hours before this arises again.

WE CELEBRATED TODAY BY BOTTLING GREEN BEANS LOL! IN THE MORNING WE WILL MAKE PICKLED BEETS! VERY ROMANTIC.

Well 40 years later, one wife, one daughter and two granddaughters. At least I have a son in-law because I'm DROWNING IN THE ESTROGEN OCEAN! Now you all know why I have a big garden! Very peaceful.?

Well 40 years ago the wife and I got married! A great lady took pity on this sad sack. I’ve been a work in progress ever since. Her words. She claims the on,t reason she stayed with me is GOD got her through it! I had no idea I wasn’t a complete package until she moulded me into what she wants lol. Its been a great road, I hope we have a great, healthy retirement..........TOGETHER! WEED(Wayne)

Yes they love to be outside with papa. The problem is my daughter and wife! Paranoid about germs and bird poop in the field lol. Thanks folks! The white ones (Azure Blues) are quite flighty, very skittish. The browns are more laid back. The browns are production birds and I see their upper beaks have been cut to stop pecking. I would not have ordered them with the beaks cut. I let my chickens free range, they can catch and eat all the bugs, worms, they love grass and weeds. This makes for a far better healthier bird and WAY BETTER EGGS. I'll post pictures when the eggs start.
