Damn just realized I ordered Samsung 4T M.2 PCIe gen 4! Cancelled that and ordered the correct Samsung 9100 Pro 4T PCIe 5.0 with the factory heat sink Glad I caught that, would have made buying a 5.0 motherboard POINTLESS

I believe that motherboard has a cooler/heatsink for the SSD. Although your option likely does a better job cooling

I believe when this happens you quit the game restart the game go back in and the download should be faster. Doesnt make sense you need to download ALL THE MAPS. Maybe some of the smart Kids can help

Hey Duffy, just planning for the future. I don't want to update every few years. My last/current pc is almost 10 years old. In ten years I might be dead lol.

After more research the above post is what I've ordered! I wanted to make sure the Motherboard was Pcie 5.0. The 5.0 will be compatible with the current high end video cards. I also required 4 SATA connections to utilize 2 SSDs and a couple of HDDs. Now the wait.

@Totty @BROMODROSYS Totty has some great information on running an COD4 program that smooths everything out for this old game. @BROMODROSYS Bromo many times when I've had a Windows update I've had similar crashes. Just about every time its a sound issue. For some reason windows changes my sound settings and I have to change my default sound equipment back. I use Steele Series Arctis 7 gaming headset and the GG software. My latest Windows 10 updates were November 13 and 20th.

Hello folks. I'm thinking I can us my Corsair box, Corsair 850 watt Power supply and for now my Geforce RTX 3060 Gigabyte Aorus 12G video card. Don't be shocked at these Canadian prices. What are your thoughts please? I'm thinking about trying AMD again.

Most times it's a sound setting problem. You can google it and see several fixes.
