  1. We are in eastern Canada. The province of New Brunswick. We live in the same city about 60 miles from the state of Maine. You likely know from all my posts I like to fish and hunt. Thanks for the medal it looks great. Weed
  2. Ok folks Meek and I met up last Sunday. We went fishing in my boat and caught a couple of Brown Trout. Here are the pics to prove it. I think this qualifies for both of us to have the I met up with another >XI< member medal. Meek is the kid I'm the Old guy lol. Thanks you very much. Weed has the camo hat of coarse! Weed

  10. Hello folks; I was just playing in server 1 FTag map mp_chaos_lm I seen someone on the roof where you jump the wall get on the boxes onto the low roof and then jump to the higher roof. A player on the other team jumped on the next building roof. so I tried that next round an tried to jump down and fell on the opposite side of a turned over truck, got stuck and fell through the map. Likely need to stop folks fro jumping on that roof. I guess my explanation might be a little poor hope you can figure it out. Weed
  11. I split them down the back, remove the bones. Leave the skin on and lay the 2 halves on tin foil on a flat cookie sheet drizzle lemon over the flesh, salt and pepper lay lemon wedges and dill over the flesh. Take a piece of Maple or apple wood that has been soaked in water for awhile. Heat the BBQ (Propane) to about 350F and place the wood down by the flame but not too close as you want the wood to SMOKE and not catch fire. Place the cookie sheet with the fish on the grill close the cover and check often. Don't over cook the fish. The price in a fine New York restaurant $55/Plate. The price at Weed's house= price of Fishing gear + 4 wheel drive truck + all the fly tying gear + the price of the camp + the gas to drive 200 mile round trip to the camp = $2785.00/plate. WORTH EVERY CENT. LOLOL
  12. Thanks folks. Catch and release is the correct thing to do. This river has recovered nicely. Several other rivers in the area are not doing so well. We are aloud to keep 8 smaller Atlantic Salmon with the largest size being 24 3/4 ". I normally only keep 3-4 per year. These smaller fish are 90% males and the biologist feel their is no harm in killing these smaller males.
  13. StormCrow did you see these videos?
  14. Folks the video is not real good because I am holding the fish with one hand and filming with the other. Enjoy. Weed http://s174.photobucket.com/albums/w88/weedfeed/Videos/?action=view¤t=b259fdaf.mp4 This other short video is me putting the pressure on different fish later that evening someone was kind enough to shoot the short video and you folks saw the still photos of this fish in the other post. 15. Thanks folks: Yes I tie my own flies. I used a Green Machine. My flies are up at the camp 100 miles away I can try to find a picture on the net. I use a hand tied tapered leader I will not use anything but a line made in Germany called Chameleon Maxima my tippet is 8 pound for salmon and 6 for trout. I will only use the brown product as the green is too shinny.
  16. This is Weed's to a server in Montreal.
  17. Well I really try and not get involved in these type of posts but I can relate to this as I too have a one and only daughter who wanted to live with her boy friend 1 year out of high school. He worked in a small store pumping gas and she worked in a fast food place. Man was I PISSed off when my Wife told me she was leaving. All I could see was her pregnant and moving back in with us after some stupid kid fight. I figured these kids should have went to collage or some form of extra education. Well Against everything I did they moved in together. He finally went and took a 10 month Machinist Industrial Mechanic coarse (he lead the class and had 3 job offers) and we got him in as an operator at the Oil refinery I work at. He now is a team lead operator making $70,000/year. She got a job at my bank's Insurance call center making $22/hour.They got Married 2 years ago. I'm sure it had nothing to do with me showing the son-Inlaw my Rugar 44 mag. Well that's what he said at the wedding. The point is sometimes if we have given our kids all the right guidance and love some o them make the right choices. I hope his does not drive you folks apart and makes you stronger. Good Luck Weed
  18. Nice Teleck; I have some good news It has been reported the Main river system here in New Brunswick has been infiltrated with some Muskie. I think there will be numbers of them soon through out the upper stretches of the river system (salt water in the lower stretches) In the next few years I may try to catch one. How about catching an Sea run Atlantic Salmon on a # 8 fly and fly rod with an 8 pound leader will that help out in the Man hood area? lolol Weed ps the $250 was for Labob your price is $300!
