Yea I have both , The one that goes into the computer and the other one thats plugs into the router

I don't think it's his sound card , It's his head phones , They are USB and have there own drivers , nothing to do with the onboard sound, realtek or otherwise.. They are wireless logitech usb head phones and they could be dropping the signal or interference from sothing close ,or logitech drivers, even battery ..But not the onboard sound card...

Dean are using usb head set or analog ..??

Before we start with buying a new , Lets get the old one going , Just format and start over, And If you own a WIn xp , You can reuse it on the new, But only on one computer at a time, Now as long as you get drvers for Win Xp , go with something like intel 3220 and a B75 chipset something like this http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130655 and use onboard sound and video , Buy a nice 1 TB hard drive and dvd burner, And maybe a 450 to 500 watt, power supply , You might be able to use some of the old parts as well , This is a starting place ...and something to look at.

Well you know Dean as we get older these thing come up more frequently , All you can do try walk every day or some kind excise and watch your diet , Everything else is up to the big guy. But I'm glad it all worked ,
