look at the refresh rate as the max amount of frames youll actually be able to see. regardless of how many fps the pc produces the monitor can only display frames equal to its refresh rate. i mean if FPS mean frames per second and the refresh rate is 60 times per sec then that is how many frames you will see

An update to the server solved the problem if anyone is having this problem elsewhere

Still cant play on our server guys. is there anything anyone knows that night help me be able to fix this. ive been trying for a week to fix this and i cant seem to do anything. If there is anything i can do to help the admin handling the support ticket i am more than willing cause its been almost a week since this happened and i still cant play at all which sucks cause i like this game alot. im not going to start over somewhere else but i would love to be able to get on our server. oncce again any ideas are more than i have now so please feel free to throw some out there. lol

best i can figure out is its something on the server side of my character. Some people say that they deleted their inventory file and it worked. I dont really want to do that but if need be. im stumped really

ive tried all different versions 1.8.3 1.8.7 1.7.10, and use latest version. ive been playing on this server pretty steady for a couple months and this is the first time this has happened. i cant even connect to the server for a second, it shows an error message as soon as i try to log in. i thought when the server reset it might fix it but it didnt. im still stuck in an endless loop of trying to connect. single player works fine and other servers work fine. it sure is gonna suck if i cant get on our server ever again.

I just warped to the spawn via /spawn. as soon as i got there i was disconnected and a connection lost message appeared. here's a screenshot. Ive tried everything i can think of and it was playing fine untill i went to the spawn. this is the first time ive had this problem. If any of yall have an idea it would be greatly appreciated.. little more info. tried reinstalling minecraft and java and also tried running the standalone version. Also tried on my other pc and experienced the exact same thing. Its on the vanilla server not the modpack This is the only server i cannot connect to

ok i gotcha. i am building. it piqued my interest when i saw other peoples towns. I will be looking forward to everything being brought back up, (as far as towns and such). otherwise i enjoy the server a lot

Where is the info on how to start a town or am i missing something? Ive tried searching thru the forums but i am having trouble finding it apparently.

i agree with hxtr it seems like a bios issue. once you get thatr updated youll know if its a memory issue cause theyre pretty good about makin sure that new bios are compatible with all the diff kinds of memory. if you update the bios and are still having trouble i would say your memory is not compatible or it is faulty. you say that no matter where you put it it still gets recogognized so it seems like your mobo is good. oh and check cpu-z and see if it reads all modules if not then im still leaning towards bios or a memory compatibilty issue. ive had a few to drink so forgive my spelling, but either way thats what i think

i clicked on the link and that board is an amd board. maybe somethin wrong with the link but i dont know. either way the board it showed me wont take an i7 chip. so look into it. from my experience a high end motherboard goes a long way. its the backbone of your system and it needs to be good.
