Looks a little like a Crappie on steroids . . lol Nice fish Stiglits, What sort of bait did you use to catch those? Since you lost a Cod I gotta figure you were fishing saltwater right?

This weeks gun is a Savage .17 Bolt action Rim fire with Scope and 7 round clip. The thumb hole stock makes it very comfortable to hold and aim not to mention how bitchen the wood grain is. Ammo for the .17 is fairly inexpensive and not so loud to have to wear hearing protection but is recommended. When I'm out riding the fence line on my ATV and i see a Prairie Dog.town with a bunch of P-Dogs poking their pesky little heads out This is the gun I reach for to get those P-Dogs doing the 2 step and since this gun is fairly quiet the rest of the P-Dogs just watch and wait their turn on the dance floor. Prairie Dogs here in this part of Montana are a nuisance animal and carry fleas and make a mess of pasture land so they are encouraged to live elsewhere. The .17 is a good alternative to your regular .22 rim fire Always assume that any gun you are handling is loaded until you check for yourself. Be Safe Idiots

That is Fn cool! I wonder how many shots you get with a battery charge? lol It looks real but has gotta be just for show. Accurately shooting a nail is impossible and for sure not a distance of 200 yds sooo I wonder what kind of gun they have for shooting a finish nail . . . . . . a mini UZI

My Gun of The Week No 3
Leadfinger replied to Leadfinger's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
No . . . I only own 1 AR-15 To accurately aim and safely shoot an AR-15 both hands should be on the gun. -
This weeks gun of the week is a CMMG AR-15 5.56 16" barrel Modified choke. Artie here is a pleasure to shoot with a 30rd clip you can get those Prairie dogs doin the 2 step right quick . . .but my main use of this excellent fire arm is Coyote control. Once in a while we have to put a cow down (and it's not fit to go to slaughter) so we will place the carcass of the cow in a strategic location to lure Coyotes in at which time they get to meet "Artie", Coyotes can do some damage during Calving and are usually full of ticks and fleas both of which give me the creeps. The AR-15 has had some bad press (F the press) being labeled "the assault weapon" of choice .. . well . .. they got that part right because it is my assault weapon of choice it's the PRESS that is bad. This firearm is accurate and steady and capable of stacking bullet on bullet at 200 yds. The AR-15 is a good addition to your gun collection since 5.56 ammo is abundant and fairly inexpensive. Teach a kid to shoot safely the ass he saves just might be yours. Be safe Idiots

After 23 years....time for a new man.....

It doesn't take 2 scientists to make a good marriage . . . . just good chemistry and a little -
If they perfect the woman robot what will we do with all the bodies? . . . . .lol

I couldn't help but laugh at the way the driver got his ass handed to him . . . They are lucky they didn't roll because the way the driver slapped his head against the other side of the boat he probably would have drowned. Sorry to see the young girl get tossed about . . . . .just a bad deal all around.

You must not be familiar with BIG pike. Hook a northern in the 36"-42" range and you will do battle . . .at least the ones I have caught here in Montana. and then there is the adventure of retrieving your lure from these toothy critters. Not art all like catching a trout or perch
-
Nice fish Deerejon . . . Is this from the same lake you caught that 5.5lb bass? Here is a pike I caught the other day . . . . . notice how different the color is? The color of the fish is probably the result of what they been eating lately. This one has been eating my shad rap. . . . you can see it in his mouth. I released this fish after I took the pic

LMFAO Who would want to put their lips on a pipe after its been "where the sun don't shine"?
-
Nice pipe. The aluminum inlay looks good, the rustic wood look with a bit of modern aluminum for bling . . .lol . and I'm with LOM on the burl bowl . .there is nothing wrong with that piece and you shaped it nicely. With the right tools you could set up and make say 5 pipes and knock that down to 10 hrs. I know you would like each one to be different so perhaps just changing the type of inlay material but the rest would be the same so once you get set up you could easily bust out some bowls and stems. You just need some tools to get you going With Marijuana becoming legal in so many states now you might want to consider designing some of your pipes for that growing market . .pot smokers appreciate a good drawing pipe too and their money is just as good. . LOM those native Indian pipes are very cool indeed, I am particularly fond of the twisted one . . that took some native a lot of coffee to make that one. . . lol

A funny thing happened on the ramp
Leadfinger replied to deerejon's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
That is a very "sinking feeling" watching your whole rig go under . . . . . har! When I launch I always leave the boat hooked at the bow and back down until the boat floats then I put it in park, set the brake and Turn the engine off. Most cars wont let you turn the key all the way off when it's still in drive. (automatic transmission) Never be in a hurry . . . .Take your time . . less chance of making a mistake, the guy behind you that is chomping at the bit waiting for you to get done can just wait. -
Twinkie, OK so you're just a cream filled sponge cake. There are ladies out there that can suck the cream out of a twinkie and not mess up the cake. (just trying to cheer you up buddy) Seriously, something that has been mentioned already is get out and do something . . . anything to keep your mind occupied. Meet new people . . .your local religious hangout (church) is a great place to start . .good people and proper ladies (for the most part) the sooner you start talking to new people the easier is will become. Hang in there . . . you feel like your at the lowest point in your life and perhaps you are . . .But it only gets better from there. @blackcat You are so full of it . . .. . . .good advice that is Are you married? . . he he he you seem like a gal with her head on straight

WTG! Cigs are a very unhealthful habit and quitting can be impossible for some. Now you smoke weed and feel much better . . . . . I found that smoking weed gives me the munchies and any Ice cream nearby would be consumed . . let alone cookies, cakes, pies, candy .. you know what I'm saying . . lol At least now you can focus on losing the weight and you don't have cigs to worry about any more

Expert Woodworking Advise Needed (pics)
Leadfinger replied to eidolonFIRE's topic in General Discussion
@@eidolonFIRE Hmmmm maybe something could be worked out here Perhaps some idiots could donate to your cause and in turn you could make pipes for them. Say if Leadfinger donated $25.00 or more and LOM (he's a generous guy ) donated $25.00 or more and a couple more idiots and you would have the $125.00 needed to buy MtDew's lathe I would be willing to wait till you had the lathe before you made my pipe . . . Kinda like investing in an idiot pipemaker's dream. People need to find ways of helping others get ahead and this clan is full of helpers Just a thought. . . kick it around a bit Anyway that white cedar is some really cool wood. . . . .does it have a strong cedar smell? Does it affect the taste of the . . . . ummmm material being smoked? Here in Montana I go up to the Bighorn Lake and pick up driftwood (cedar) and some of it is a rich purple color and smells amazing when I cut it and when I burn it. (in the wood-stove) . . -
My Gun of The Week No 2
Leadfinger replied to Leadfinger's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
I know I know I probably should have changed the title this week to "Gun of The WEAK" .. . lol -
This weeks gun is a Colt 25 automatic a pesky little gun manufactured around the early 1920s with only about 409,000 made This one is numbered 202,886. I wish I could tell you that this gun could shoot a fly off a turd at 50 paces . . . . but I can't . . In fact if your more than 20 feet from your target you better have an extra clip. Because of the short barrel it just isn't the most accurate gun made. One night I was headed to the ranch and as I rounded a corner on the highway in the road in front of me was a deer that had just been hit by a car and was badly injured. It was a sad sight watching this deer try to pull itself off the road with its back legs broken . . . I put my flashers on and jumped from my truck with my Colt 25 knowing that I could get some shit from a game warden for "hunting" out of season but that deer needed to be put out of its misery. The little colt did its job and I pulled the deer off the road and said a few religious type things and rolled down the road to the ranch. No easy answer here as not everyone has a gun and is willing to stop and euthanize a large animal when they hit it so sadly these animal suffer until they die from there injury's . . upside is fat coyotes which we deal with next week I like this gun for the simple reason that it can be carried very discrete and is easy to operate . . you'll just have to get close enough to introduce yourself before it's effective. When teaching young people how to shoot safely the first rule is to respect the gun Be safe Idiots
