Most people in Montana (where I live) wave at you when you drive by so thats not unusual but it did take some getting used too since when I lived in Calif the only thing waved at you was "the bird" lol We visited San Antonio (and the Alamo but i pissed in the rest room) last year and found it to be a bitchen place. Looked like a nice place to live. I'm enjoying my stay here very much I fished Lake Fork and i'm at Sam Rayburn now and catching a bunch of fish. Headed to Port Arthur Tomorrow for a couple days then headed back to Montana. (stopping at Lake Fork again). South eastern Texas is very green right now a sight for winter sore eyes. I'm hoping Montana has gotten the memo and started spring.

I'm in texas right now on vacation and its been a adventure. What an asshole! The Alamo is a national treasure and should be respected. 18 months in jail seams a bit unusualy long. I think spending 18 months in jail is a complete waste of taxpayers money and the guilty pisser should instead be sentanced to doing various labor intensive tasks such as cleaning the restrooms at the Alamo and other public offices for 18 months.

Whereas I am very cautious of the actions of our current president and his administration I don't feel like the federal government is out of line here. Like LOM stated this guys dad made a deal with the Gov. and now he wants to default and not pay the bill . . . .it just doesn't work that way. This Bundy guy needs to snap out of it and pay up or shut up. Flaming the fire of government wrongdoing in this case is a waste of time and the people or oranizations that are behind this should save their resources for a battle that can be won and we know that the Gov will accomidate them soon enough.

$250 thou a day in tax revenue in Colorado? That's like 90 mil a year? With a new source of tax revenue like that the residents of Colordo should see a reduction of their taxes . . . . ..NOT! It will be interesting to see what they use the money for.

Hitting a target the size of a human body at a distance of 44 football fields is completely amazing. At the ranch I work at we have a 24" "gong" set up at 500yds and another at 1000yds. The round the sniper in this article used was a .338 lapua magnum. I have made several attempts to hit the 1000yrd "gong" with this round and where it is capable of reaching this distance my skills (and wind) have kept me from being successful. Now the 500yrd "gong" is a story with a better outcome as I have "peppered" it on a number of occasions. With all the variables involved with hitting a target so far away its hard to even imagine being able to SEE an object that far thru a rifle scope and then having the confidence to make the shot. Snipers do some serious damage. For all the men and women serving in our armed forces out there this beer is on me (we need an American flag smiley)

That 1967 C-10 looks to be in pretty good shape. Maybe he wont have to spend so much time fixing stuff and instead have time to customize it a little. I hope he is thinking about a part time job cuz he will need some "scratch" to buy parts and supplies. Projects like these always seem to kick my butt and I spend more than I budget.
