Howdy everyone; Twice while on the COD4 Ace mod server my game name has gone nuts and randomly started changing. Scanned my program/activision files, but can't find anything amiss. Any guesses out there? Thanxs! Jim (TheLastColdBeer>XI<)

I'll throw my 2 cents in. We either have a society based on law, or it's just anarchy. We aren't supporting immigration. We're allowing invasion of foreign nationals and they are using our liberties and laws to further their agendas. Look at our crippled hospitals and the debt load we are all taking on from the abuses of persons in this nation illegally. If you want change, change your own nation first. Maybe Mexico needs another revolution by its people to remove the horrible corruption.

Yeah, had the same trouble. Found a jpeg on the net showing a "fresh" main folder w/no mods. Deleted everything that didn't look like it and downloaded all the new maps. Back playing ! Hadn't cleaned my COD2 main folder for about 4 years.......

Arrrrrgh!!! Was in and out yesterday, couldn't get a game in because of downloading and impure file removal. Set Phantom's XI downloader to work last night. Tried to log into the COD2TDM server and got stuck downloading maps! Frustrating. Is there a quicker way to upgrade/remove old files? Thanks! LastColdBeer

AVG free user here for years. Good program, but like Phantom says, it can't protect you from yourself. Watch where you go and what you click on....lol.

Thx Rockape, yeah, that's what I wanted. I'm running Opera for a browser. Tried moving the file a couple of times for a shorter path, but that wasn't the holdup.

Hello >XI< folks! I want to thank everyone for bringing me into the clan. You couldn't ask for a better bunch of guys & gals to game with, bashings, headshots, and knivings aside. Just a brief introduction for those who don't know me. My name is Jim Brophy. Married to a lovely wife, Lori Brophy. She's a pharmacist and I'm currently working for Ferrellgas. I have been a millwright, pipe-fitter, corrosion inspector, heavy equipment operator, row-crop farmer, and cattle rancher. We built a new home in Illinois, and we're content to stay put. I'm also a city councilman and Commander of the local River Rescue. This means I have to put up w/a lot of whining and complaining from so-called adults. One of my little escapes is COD, and I try to thoroughly enjoy my time spent playing. You are all a blast to play with, and I can't thank you enough for the fun. See y'all on the field! Thanks for your replies, Phuckitman is the man who pulled me aside and asked me to start posting. Used to play on the COD4 servers a lot, but have recently gone back to COD2 for the chance to play with friends from past years.
