It has been a hoot laughing at the results, coming from both directions. Luckily, we're all Idiots>XI<, and are tolerant of mistakes. Sun Tzu Try the XI downloader for the custom maps that we do run on our servers. http://www.xtremeidiots.com/doc.asp?did=6 On this morning Sun Tzu, Noddy changed the map for me. Phantom's downloader works fine, but doesn't catch this particular problem. The error message is: couldn't load maps/mp/mp_harbor.d3d .bsp I think I'll take Gump & Noddy's advice, houseclean back to stock & download the new rotations.

Gump You could get a list of the current map rotations and delete everything else minus the original install files of course but like you say it's time consuming.They do make a directory cleaner for CoD2,it will clean everything out and take it back to stock and start over like Noddy said,You can get it here: http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/;93569 TY Gump, I was wondering if anybody made a cleaner like this, just didn't bother to go looking. Naaaah, a .bsp is a map file within the .iwd file. an .iwd can contain several maps. Just don't have time to sort through the whole load. Thought somebody else might have had the same problem. Noddy says just shitcan everything and start over.....lol.

Howdy everyone; I have a couple of maps that refuse to load, harbor.bsp being one that comes to mind. Is this a stock map? Do I need to remove a .iwd or two to make things work? I'm used to having impure .iwd errors and removing offending files to get in, but this is new. The error message is specific to certain maps. No problems on the DM server or Area51. Miss having my morning bashies w/Noddy, Newf, Swedish Rose, & Alf. Thanks!

pitbullpete I Must Say This is one of the Best Posts I Have Seen In Quite Awhile . Touche' Rugger and I agree 100% Since I started way back with Johnny Dos and a few Others, People Join and They dont Like What They See or They Think They can Start Their Own Clan and Then Most of Them Come Back Because They Know.......
