  1. I know Dawgy has recently changed the rotation but it seems like i have been playing the same maps for EONS on here. I'm sure this has been mentioned before but is there any reason why we can't have a map voting system at the end of each game? This would also free up some time for Dawg to continue making some of his great maps, and would also help him having to use his grey stuff too much trying to choose maps!
  2. thanks for that bud - it's gotten rid of most of the files inside, but the folder its self is still there, contains prgram files (x86)/ firefox & windows live. gotten rid of close on 48gb, valuable room that is better served for storing porno! Any idea why the file still won't delete though?
  3. Hey, i've recently made a system image and ran across this windows.old folder, like a turd i forgot to delete that folder when i made the system image a while back. I've tried to delete that mf folder, rename it etc but it keeps sayin that it's either in use by another program (it's not) or that i need administrator rights to delete it, i'm tha computer administrator right? i have an adminstrators user account so why can't i delete it? this thing is headin toward 50gb and while it's not a bother, i'd like it gone. how?? thannks guys

  10. t funny u should say that arti, today was the first time i've been on cod2 since a system restore (image). now i don't know if the 2 are connected but ever since then, the mouse has been playing up, seems to be ok on windows desktop and in programs, but on firefox or IE it just seems to freeze, like the PC is having the life sucked out of it, only lasts about 10 seconds but i can't do SFA!
  11. hey all does anyone have an answer as to why my optical usb mouse would suddenly stop working? fine until yesterday, then just seems to be lagging everywhere. made no hardware changes, installed nothing new, few battery, tried a differnet wireless optical mouse, same problem. transmitter is plugged into the pc, not a hub. it's a monumental pain in the ass so if anyone has a bright idea? cheerz
  12. okok, any XI member buying this, i'll ship it for free to the UK mainland ffs!
  13. $484 + shipping yes, however i am probably shooting myself in the foot by saying that there are 2 issues with shipping to the States; 1/ I believe that your mains electricity is 120v there, here it's 240v. 2/ This is a PAL system, i think you use the NTSC system there. Not such a big deal now, most newish tv's can switch between loads of different systems. 3/ i worked shipping just to UK mainland out to be around £24 UK Sterling, effectivley you can double that to go stateside. Sorry peeps, but i'd recommend you buy a little closer to home Stool

    UPS

hey, can anybody recommend a UPS? needs to be able to shut down pc safely. Only need about 5min back up power. Battery pack should be easily replaceable. Not sure how i work out the power of UPS i'll need but i'm running win 7 with 3 internal HDD, 3 external HDD, BR/RW DVD/RW, 32" LCD monitor, printer and security camera software. Don't think i need to worry about the monitor but am concerned about HDD damage, getting an average of 3 blackouts a week, which will only get worse as the winter draws in. don't want to pay a fortune, and must run 240v in thx
