  1. ahhh, dgbOut.exe relates to Sony Ericsson mobile phones, a program for organizing media files on a mobile phone. Strange, don't know what it's doing here on my pc, i don't have an SE phone.......
  2. hackeklaus the process dpupdchk.exe belongs to the software "Microsoft IntelliPoint" or "Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook" or "Virgin Media Broadband Help" by Microsoft Corporation. dbgout.exe with description dbgOut MFC application is a process file from company "Teleca Sweden AB" belonging to product dbgOut application. and the last one (FsynSrvstarter.exe) belongs to "htc sync" it its a sync-prog for outlook and windows adress book so this programms should not do bad things with ur pc. if u want u can use the programm "hijackthis", it makes a logfile and check this file for alot of bad stuff. if it found anything bad, u can delete it with this programm too. i hope this will help u in anyway^^ thanks for this fella, the intellipoint is my mouse, easy. HTC Sync is related to my smart phone, no problem there. dbgout bears more scrutiny, i'll post here if it turns out to be a nasty. thanks for your help here bro. Stool
  3. PT-Bama Anytime I don't know what a particular process is, I use the google!!!! ..I have been having issues with Firefox too. It goes all unresponsive, and I have to close all the windows I have open from task manager. Is that what you have been experiencing? yep, that's EXACTLY what i'm getting, if i minimize it, it just sits there, try to close it no chance - gotta use task manager as well
  4. hackeklaus are u using the newest version of firefox? i newer got a problem with firefox and im using only the newest versions. yes, my version is upto date mate
  5. dpupdchk.exe dbgout.exe FsynSrvstarter.exe not using any extraordinary amount of memory, just don't remember seeing them before and have no ide wot they're about. Just a bit twitchy about them, particularly as been having a few problems with firefox recently. windows 7 x64 thanks in advance
  6. word up JohnnyDos. I am not in a finacial postition to pull out $60 dollars at once, but i would be more than willing to set up a regular paypal/bank credit to XI for $5 a month. What about those peeps that aren't XI and seem to spend more time here than XI members, surely they could pay a little something? After all, why should i help somebody game endlessly for free, particularly when they kick my ass frequently. Maybe it would help cut down on the people that abuse/hack the servers if they had to pay to come and play.
  7. Morning all Just read the PM about ads on the site and i'd like to "ad" my two pence worth. Firstly, i think it's great that members and even non members step up and donate every month, and i notice every month that donations go over the required amount. By donating i think it gives you a sense of ownership. Ads are all very well as long as they don't become too intrusive and we don't end up getting spammed to death! Personally, i think that XI are likely to earm more dosh from Google Adsense, i personally click on several ads throughout the day but it's very rare i'll buy anything, if i'm thinking of making a purchase, i'll go to sites i know and trust. What's the chances of me wanting to buy something from an ordinary ad, particularly if the XI site is only going to have a few select ads. I myself would rather set up a regular payment to XI to donate a set amount every month than have to look at lots of ads. We currently have over 400 members by my math $10 x 412 = $4120 or even $5 a month would swell the XI coffers by $2060 a month, far, far more than is currently donated, what could XI do with that?! I appreciate that not every member is well off, i'm certainly not, but when i take into consideration the amount of time i spend on the servers, it works out at a few pennies per hour. I ain't gonna be able to spend 100hrs at my local cinema, bowling, or football (soccer) ground for $10 dollars a month! So, surely members could step up and pay $5 a month? remember, it's YOUR XI you facking idiot!
  8. thats a real wierd one, my mate had that in COD UO, there seemed to be lag in between moving the mouse and movement on the screen. Never got to the bottom of it, formatted hdd, new install, new card & drivers and it still happened.. Never played it since...bummer ;(
  9. Well, Liquid Stool.... that has been my nickname for nearly 25 years. When i left school i started an apprenticeship and most of my co workers were blokes in their late 20's - 40's. As an induction, they thought it would be real funny to lace my first few cups of coffee with a laxative. Most of the day went well, then about 4pm, my ringpiece suffered a catastrophic failure and i was literally covered in well, a liquid stool. Those fuckers thought it was highly amusing, i didn't, especially seeing as i had to ride a damn bicycle home. That saddle felt like a damn razor blade on my ass split............. Good thread!
  10. ahhh that old chestnut.........win 7 per chance??
  11. This seems to be a bit of an ongoing issue with Area 51, i had the same issue with the same packs, 3a.iwd and J.iwd It was made worse by the fact that i would download the 3a.iwd on Area 51, then, when i went into the DM Server, it would say i had an invalid 3a.iwd file! Of course, the easiest thing to do is just rename those packs (3a.iwd.bak)rather than deleting them, this saves having to download the correct pack in game. Phantom did explain why he thought this was happening if i remeber rightly it was something to do with the downloader downing different .iwd files to those that the server was running. This was further complicated because i sometimes run the downloader, sometimes i download in game. How i understand it, each server runs different map packs, even though they might be the same name, the content will be different. Is that right?? Or am i a complete cock??! Maybe i'll just stick to updating my "Whaletail Of The Day Thread".........
  12. Just wanted to say thanks for sticking the TDM server up, the gunship mod is ace and some of the maps are superb, Is it possible to stick some of those into the DM server or are they only TDM maps? Really like TDM. DM is cool but sometimes, especially when the server is busy, i spend more time respawning than i do shooting anyone lol.
  13. ok, thanks for that - maybe i'll invest in his own copy of cod2......
  14. i know my stats aren't great but i'd like to keep em as good as possible. As some of you may know, i was thinking of letting my son (soft & squidgy stool) join in on the servers but as he'd be using my copy of the game, and my key, would his performance affect my stats? even if he's using his own pc? thx
  15. sup, in Vista, i was able to choose the details i wanted to see about my files, in particular .mp3 ie; bit rate, duration, bpm, comments etc. Now i am still able to see that in Win 7 but i have to go through this; ALT, view, choose details, then click each box i want to show. Only problem is that i have to do this for EVERY single folder/file and it's a monumental pain in the ass, i'm currently retagging all my choons - 100,000+ Is there a way to set the details i want to see as a default view? cheers all Stool
  16. mikey1799 i use nero 8 ,on windows 7 and dont get no problems at tall m8. i was using 8 on vista x64 but i noticed after the last update it suffered from the same probs as 9 does. you using it on 64bit mikey?
  17. is anyone else using this on a windows 7 x64bit system? If so, are you having any issues with speed? On my sytem it takes fuckin ages to open ANY type of file, mpg, avi, dvd, mp3, flash etc. I grew a beard waiting for it to CLOSE! Seriously considering going back to Nero 8 but seeing as it cost me £60 i'd think Nero supoport would be a bit more useful. They sent back an email saying "disable your anti virus when installing". Boneheads, didn't even have it installed when i installed nero on a fresh windows install.
  18. ok, i'm begining to think that these damn user accounts are more trouble tan they're worth. Logged into the standard account for a game of COD2 this morning and got this message when i used the shortcut; "Call Of Duty 2 Can't write a file. The hard drive is probably full." Well, it certainly ain't! No problem if i run from admin account though. anyone have any ideas? thanks Stool
  19. ok mate thx for that. So there would be no conflict with those files? Oh yeah, got rid of those sigs to mate
  20. i was just wonderin, i have two user accounts on the pc, one an admin and one a standard user. Do i get double the amount of files? ie, i just logged into the standard account and noticed the XI downer was downloading what i downloaded yesterday whilst working in the admin account. not worried just an enquiry. with over 3TB of HDD i'm sure i have the room, but if things start getting tight it'll be a major conflict - COD2 or Porn collection.............
