It is now more than a week since I have ordered my new computer parts Everything was in stock when I did my order so I ordered everything for that company and even paid nearly 1100 euros. according to their website within 24 hours everything would be chipped yellow The past week has been three times another reason why I passed anything of my ordered parts have ingested. The first time was because the internal memory is not in stock (Monday) was. the rest was ready for shipment and Thursday was the case again. So it would be sent without the memory and come Friday. The third time was suddenly the video card (end of day Friday) and no longer available, a replacement card in the place agreed Saturday was just the video card in to me and the rest not because now missing suddenly the Crucial SSD 64GB M4. I was told. According to the last appointment I had made with the company today I would look everything inside. Na één gitaarles van Jaap Warink (It’ 66) was het voldoende en ging het instrument weer in de kast om vervolgens na de verhuizing van Beverwijk naar Loppersum in 1972 te worden verkocht aan een optredende band (the Refugees) bij zijn ouders in het hotel voor de lieve som van 25 gulden. Op zijn 15e kocht hij een Egmond gitaar voor 100 gulden hij het Noorder Muziekhuis in Groningen en ging aan de slag. Eén en ander resulteerde in een zekere vaardigheid, die beloond werd met het oprichten van zijn eerste band Sjek Cheque en de Vloetjes, even later via The Judge omgedoopt tot L&B Band. Hiermee werden twee singles opgenomen in 1982 en 1983. De single getiteld "De eerste de beste" haalde een tipnotering in België. Al met al heeft deze formatie tot februari 1986 in wisselende bezettingen bestaan. De muzikale carrière lag door het opstarten en runnen van een eigen bedrijf stil tot 1991, toen Ger werd benaderd door de leden van Hail Gewoon om hun gitarist te vervangen die om gezondheidsredenen moest stoppen. Vanaf die dag tot heden is Ger de zanger/gitarist van de band. De huidige bezetting: Tamme Kamminga, Coos Grevelink, Chris Slager, Klaas van der Woude en Ger Warink. Op Wikipedia is overigens de hele geschiedenis van Hail Gewoon te lezen. Ger is nu, naast eigenaar van Ger Warink Muziek te Loppersum ook bezig zijn guitarskills over te brengen op de jeugd door middel van het geven van gitaarles. The OutTakes is het nieuwste project waar Ger aan deelneemt en wel als bassist/zanger. Op zijn 1960 Egmond Princess en Fender Jazzbas uit 1964 leeft hij zich uit in nummers uit zijn heel vroege jeugd. Dat alle liedjes zo eigen zijn komt door het feit dat Ger bijna zijn hele jeugd in de horeca heeft doorgebracht en menig artiest heeft ontmoet, gezien en gehoord. Van zijn eerste ervaring met de sensatie van Q65 tot …. ja wie niet? En al die opgeslagen kennis mag hij er nu uitknallen op het podium, samen met Dicky, Coos en Chris. Is al die geheugenruimte innemende muzikale kennis toch niet geheel umsonst.........!!!
