Hey Guys, These are the details of this Sun's competition: The following are the competitors of the first three rounds: -{oFc}-{SpinalTap} -BROS-Zeppelin -{oFc-Jr}-BerceLSB ethzZ Arcanage_XI DREAD_XI SuperSpeed =SoothSayerXI= -BROS-Guidebot And the four Wildcard choices: Rugger>XI< Dragon_XI AngelWings BudSR>XI< These 13 will fight it out to be in the top 5. Then next sunday those top 5 will compete for the final prize of the $700-00 computer. The round will take place @ approx 3:00pm USA Central time and will last for 20 min. Please ensure you are there on time. >The map will be choson and posted tommorrow (Friday) so there is ample time to practice. Thanks and good luck.

I have often heard XI described as a famiily and the phrase "Its the people not the servers" used. I know that the servers are the core of the clan and without them we wouldn't exist to the standard of clan we are today, so all i ask is that you stick around for the people in >XI< rather than the servers at this present time. As i have said I will take responsibilty for the issues with the server at this presant time and i will work my ass off trying to fix them along with the rest of the admin team. To expand on the issues with the server at this present time: > There is currently a bug where a function is called which only exists in the SinglePlayer part of the game, this causes the player to be unable to die. Darklite has attempted to patch this issue but it seems due to soothsayers post it hasnt worked. As it stands it is very rare to get this bug and only seems to happen once every couple of days, if it does happen return to spectate and then rejoin. > Spectator Points: The mod we have added (Patriot) loads at a different point in time than the previous mods, instead of loading when the gamerules load it loads after the map has loaded using the spectator points. Our issue is that some of the maps either dont have spectator points or they are having issues. This is limiting our choice of maps. > Features: As this mod is compleatly new we are lacking on the features of the old mod, porting/re-writing takes time especially when there are these other issues that we are trying to deal with. What we are doing to fix these: > Darklite started on this mod about 6 months ago, since then he has been working EVERY day on getting it as stable as possible and sufficient for our needs, he is currently working on the bugs and some new features. > X-RayXI is trying to work a map rotation around our current issues to provide some great maps which work 100% > Sitting-: well im trying to help DL which Patriot, help X-Ray with the maps and write a load of new chat commands/features to the server. So all i ask sooth is that you realise that we are doing our very best to sort these issues and possibly try to help out with spotting bugs if you can. Thats been suggested already. I can personally guarentee that if we make the XI server No-Key that it WILL NOT EVER be removed by gamespy or crytek EVER. However it is illegal so it will not happen.

Its true that the servers are having major issues atm, but we are trying so hard to fix them. The issue with the server mods atm is that we used to run 1.3.1 which worked fine but wasnt the most stable, after we upgraded to 1.4 which was a major mistake as the server crashed repeatedly another mistake was when we tried to recify that issue by changing to yet another mod which was 'suppoosed' to be better - this cause the server to crash at least every 8 hours and sometimes repeatedly for an hour or so. We then changed the mod to Patriot - the first version we added was a complete success fixing ALL the crashing and stability issues which a total uptime of over 12 days on the first test. Now this has come as a cost as we havent yet been able to add everything from the old mods and somke of the maps we run have been having issues with compatibility. I cant tell you how hard we are working on this to get it runnning properly again and how sorry i am that these issues are causing the fun to be lost, most of the chices made for the servers have had my imput and i take responsibilty for the problems that we are facing and im sorry for them. I really hope we can get these issues sorted asap.. but unfortunatly it takes time and its most likey that the game will be dead before we ever come close to having the perfect server setup (one that is stable yet has the features we want). As i look at the server list while im writing this there is less than 80 ppl playing with no servers full (excluding the 5 full no-key servers). This game will truely be dead before C2 and all i can say is sorry for the issues and i hope we can overcome them and still have fun. Thanks for reading.
