We put her down with a bang. Turned it into hardcore and it filled up with queue lol I think the BF4 player base has just changed is all. A lot of people aren't playing as much that use to (probably bored with it) and all the new faces we are getting seem to be COD or similar players who prefer hardcore mode. We'll see what the future holds. Nothing is set in stone.

Just make sure to use PayPal and a credit card on PayPal for double protection (they cover you for 180 days now). Some people don't trust sites, some do. U-Play recently revoked a bunch of peoples FarCry keys from various places but Orgin has never done so that I can find. I think most the people that don't like Hardline would end up liking it more on some of the other maps we don't get to see yet. Some of these maps on the modes suck, but that's true in BF4. Some modes just suck on some maps and are decent on others. It doesn't have tanks or planes but that's okay, it still has some choppers and SUV with guns. Plus now I get to beat a bunch of idiots with bats!!!

You either need BF4 Premium Edition (game and all expansion) OR Battlefield 4 (Game) and Battlefield 4 Premium Service (expansion) (which is the same as above but split) All our servers are premium content so the base game only won't allow you to play. A few months back they had great sales to get everything for like 20-30 bucks but now it's went back up some.

Technically those are all possible. You could have drug lords in the desert and the cops busting a big manufacture ring with your goal of defending it or various points. This sounds like RUSH or Conquest or Domination hah. Not to mention you get CA and Las Vegas are all considered Desert really hah. Ocean, same. I've been on a number of police boats in real life and they get in chases as well that often go from water to land even. You want big attack boats? No problem, Coast Guard boats to the rescue! hah Blizzard? No problem, you think Alaska has no cops? They actually have some of the chilliest and cool cops I've seen. Because it's a game, EVERYTHING is possible. You mentioned WoW but that's comparing apples and oranges really. BF is still BF. All they've done is change you from US/RU/CN to Bad Guy/Cop and switch a few vehicles and weapons around. Real life doesn't have "Hover Tanks" out in the middle of war but BF4 does? Do they actually exist? Well kind of but that's a whole other story lol. You seem to have always liked BF, just as I have for the most part so why wouldn't you want to try the next one? No one said switch from BF to WoW, two totally different classes of games. But BF4 and BFH are still the same class. I'm just saying be open minded. Heck it could even be one of those you initially hate it (because if someone has a mind set they will be stuck in it for a while, just like a negative person can always have negativity happen in life) but after a bit you may end up loving the hell out of it lol. Yea because it was an incomplete product. You probably wouldn't own a lot of things you may now if you saw them in the early stages. I beta test a lot of hardware for many companies on the side of my normal job. I get to see tons of crappy products but I also have seen tons go from crappy to great. You played a buggy beta without the ability to see the rest of the game. You didn't get to use or see all the guns, vehicles or maps so how can you judge it based on those? You say less maps? BF3 was launched with 9 maps, BF4 with 10. This is expected to have 9. How is that less? Keep in mind these are games. In BF4 I could do dumb stuff to distract the enemy, Single player is ALWAYS different vs. multiplayer. It's a game, it was never meant to be 100% realistic. No one would play these games if they had been. Otherwise 1-2 bullets should kill just about everyone. I'm not saying you or anyone are not entitled to opinion. Hell, I may end up hating the game even. But I know you can't judge a book by its cover. I can't say a type of food is nasty if I never tried it, how can I a say a game sucks and is no good just because a few other people say it sucks and is no good or I played an unfinished beta or watched a video which is simply just another persons opinion? That's like my niece saying fish is nasty and she never has tried it lol. The best way to handle this I think is buy the game directly from Origin at release or shortly after and try it. They will refund you if you don't like it if you buy from them direct and decide within 30 days I think. I personally ordered it for $35 from another place. Not enough money for me to worry if I don't like it or not. I can blow that on dinner lol My point is to try it out for yourself, don't listen to what everyone else says or thinks, me included. Even this upcoming beta won't give the entire picture. Sure it will give a lot more insight but again, it's a beta. They are going to make changes based on player feedback. I expect this to be no different vs BF4. Expansions will come out with more guns and maps and modes and end of the day they are all similar really. Personally, I'm just excited for something new/different again. I imagine a lot of us may jump around to the old BF for a bit too.

Most people I've heard are getting it though so you mine as well move over so we can abuse you more! You can't say you don't like something you've not gave a chance to like. The beta doesn't really count if you even played that as... A) It was a beta B ) It only had what, 2 maps and modes? Keep in mind I'm sure premium will come out and add more expansions and modes etc. BF5 Is not due out for a good year so they will probably make new modes and changes as players want to this one. I do suspect the new complaint will be "Man I RPG that cop car why it didn't blow up in one hit, it's a car!" lol

You can get 3 year for $150 bucks and they cover everything, 2way shipping and they don't even void warranty for opening or swapping parts! I would say GET the warranty. One part pays for it and they will often mail you the part if you don't want to mail in the entire machine. I can probably get you another 20 bucks off the price if you don't do any other discounts too as referral as I used in them in past but they offer military and student discounts as well as cash discount if pay by check/money order.

Laptops made with higher end parts generally don't have heating up problems like the cheapy laptops. I've gamed on laptops only for the past 4 years, without any cooler or any issues. Had a 580M GTX in first one and current one has a 780M GTX. Heat is no problem. Laptops have higher thermal threasholds vs. desktops so while 60-70c on a GPU for a desktop might freak you all out, on a laptop, those are great good temps. Laptops are designed for normal op temp on CPU/GPU to go up to upper 90c before they are considered "overheating" with 100c being the "something is wrong" limit. That said, looks like a decent spec laptop. You will have to play on Medium to High if using 1080P to maintain decent frames with 860M but after all it's just your away from home machine

Yuck, what are those other servers on the Favs for!!! Mine only has the three important ones you slackers Anyway yes, it's been good past few days. I think the holidays have helped, plus maybe some people got BF for gifts etc. Hopefully it keeps up, makes playing much more fun. And thanks to those of you helping get them going as always as well.

The only times it "should" skip vote is during 1st run of rush (as runs twice) and sometimes it wouldn't work if the server size exceeded the map rotation and the rotation changed. That said, I've recently semi combined the two map rotations so it's just one now to fix the server size vs. rotation and vote issue. The 32 slot server often goes up and down over the threshold and while the server keeps going it messes voting up a lot and thus the eliminating of one. Anyway if messes up any just let us know again.

I had found this and set before it showed in NFO ever but I think it got reverted back at some point by someone replacing the startup.txt I showed @@Damit1 a few weeks back. It was implemented in the early October server side patch I had dug through and found. The ready timeout has to be 30seconds, can't be lower. The other values can be whatever you want but the one that equals the highest will always win between % and player number. 0 players disables the ready and makes the 15 second counter take effect when the first person gets in.
