So...how Awesome Is My Wife?
B-Murda replied to The Flush's topic in Battlefield 4's Battlefield 4 Discussion
You are lucky! Good catch with her, don't find too many that awesome out in this world anymore! Of course you do know the downside to this??? You will have to really make up for it come her turn for a gift haha. Maybe get her an account too, she can be your medic! -
Aww, and to think, I was always told I couldn't be an bigger Idiot!! Hah, I proved them all wrong!!!

Happy B-Day you Evil Monkey!

8 works great for me. Technically 8 "should" be better for gaming because it's much more memory efficient and the core code is cleaner. I also have not ran into anything that won't run on 8.

Happy Birthday you ol DUCK

I think too often people forget about what our older vets have done for this country. Too many times I have seen them on the side of the road missing a limb asking for help or even just sitting and not asking. Almost every one I have ever spent time talking to (and I mean more vs. just 2 min...) was one of the nicest people you could meet. They had been more interested in telling me the about things they experienced than asking for a hand out even. While sometimes you get the imposters the truth is most of them have made a huge sacrifice for this country. Some have given a physical life and are now gone, others the life they now live is a result and every one I have talked to said they would fight for our country again in a heart beat, even when the government may have turned a back to them and to me that is straight honor. Some of the things they experienced make you wonder why someone would say that but truth is things just wouldn't be what they are for the rest of us without what they did so we must ALWAYS thank them, not just on special days such as this. ALWAYS REMEMBER, NEVER FORGET. Hope everyone is having a blessed day!

Congtratz! So when you letting her join XI?!? lol

Prayers with you and your family. I have had some tough losses in my family (multiple sadly) but have also had some close ones that turned around as well so I can understand how you feel. It's def not easy Just keep your head up though. Anything is possible in life and things can still turn around regardless of what any Dr says or thinks and at the end of the day the one above will always be listening, watching and here for you and her, no matter the outcome.

It's hit or miss really. Chances are it will indeed help, but the issue as some pointed out is can you handle upside down and if so for how long. It's not super great to be upside down too long as it messes with your blood flow, tummy acid etc. but the pulled of the spine is what makes it work. You can kind of do similar right side up if you can relax your legs off the groud and brace yourself up with just your elbows on something high, locked close to your body and relax and let your body weight pull your spine. You know you're doing it right if you feel you spine pulling, though it probably does not do the entire spine well like the above would but for mid/lower back it does well for me.

Big Brother Has Amazing Vision.. And Will Only Get Better
B-Murda replied to hxtr's topic in General Discussion
What you see in this is about 60% of the current capability in today's newer models. They actually have a lot higher resolution now. Oh, and FWIW the US has satellites that can see even more clear and those have to look through a lot of other things including part of our atmosphere so just imagine. In this day and age this is good and bad. Good in that it has it's good uses that will save lives, but bad in that it will also be abused, like everything humans do. I guess WE should look at it as so long as we are not doing anything wrong does it really matter? While disturbing, it's going to happen regardless of what we want and is already happening. My concern is the security of this information and access. Working in IT security myself I know anything connected can be breached. My worry is these things start flying with missiles on them (oh wait that is already done too hah) and some kid jacks into one and goes on a joy flight of destruction. We think kids taking guns to school is bad, wait till one gets in control of one of these... and it WILL happen at some point. -
This Is Just Hilarious

Need A New Router; What Do You Guys Suggest For Best Range?
B-Murda replied to HarryWeezer's topic in Computer Help
FWIW a new model exists: ASUS RT-AC66U If you're spending this much you mine as well go a bit more and make sure you are not starting behind the times right off the bat. Remember, all new cell phones and computers are going to start having the newer technology so no point having an outdated router too -
Need A New Router; What Do You Guys Suggest For Best Range?
B-Murda replied to HarryWeezer's topic in Computer Help
I would recommend an 802.11ac router as it will be more future proof for you. That said, most routers are going the way of internal antennas. I have a 3000+ sqft home and no coverage issues and half the internal walls are brick lol (house had an addition added). That said I am using an Netgear R6300v2 but the v2 is not yet released. I wouldn't get the non v2 version as BIG size difference, so if the v2 isn't out when you go to buy look at Asus or another brand 802.11ac router. I have two v2's and they are wireless bridged to my media center and connected at about 1.1Gbps wireless vs N has a max of 450Mbps... 802.11ac increases power output so has increased range and also has additional features, such as the ability to focus data streams based on the direction of devices which allows for stronger signals. That said 802.11ac uses 5Ghz which doesn't have the distance 2.4Ghz will have and while the 802.11ac devices do also have 2.4Ghz they will only support N on that freq. A lot of new devices support ac also now, new mobile phones, new laptops are starting too etc. so mine as well get off N now as it's getting replaced. ac is backwards compatible also fwiw. -
Yea, just let us know which model MB you have and if you know the current bios version. TBH 95% of bios flashes are safe and cause no problems but at the same time if you're not careful you can of course give yourself problems. If you can give the above info though we can look at and let you know if it's worth doing. Sometimes they just simply add support for a newer CPU. Sometimes they make more RAM compatible, sometimes fix GPU issues, other times nothing you would care about or want. I have seen some give performance and stability increases and some decrease. It just depends. I have flashed probably a thousand bios in my life so far (can you tell I work in IT lol) and so far I think I have only had 2 fail and in one of those cases was a result of my own mistake. That said, some systems are very very easy to flash, others a tad more complicated. In the case of laptops, it's generally recommended to keep them up to date because they modify things such as cooling curves and other algorithms that regulate temperature. In some cases they can even modify voltages slightly. These sort of changes can increase the life span of the components depending what's being done and why. Anyway, just let us know and we can give you recommendations.

You can always use a non-persistent VM. I use one if I plan on doing anything I may have doubts on, including as a test software bed to test any new software I install and make sure it don't mess my system up. I imagine the porn image quality would look the same too Those darn sites seem to love to infect computers... Not that I can confirm nor deny I would look at any of course.

Why not just run 8? FWIW it is very similar to 7. The start screen is of course different but MS is actually going to bring back the old start screen. So far I have not even came across a driver from 7 that wouldn't work on 8 in the event a driver was missing and I have had to work on a lot of machines... I have some old P4's running 8 even because it simply ran faster vs. XP and 7 due to memory usage more efficient. I actually find 8 to have a slight performance advantage vs. 7 due to its better memory management. I do understand that some gamers will claim 7 to be faster though and I guess depending on the machine and drivers it's possible but I have not been able to duplicate it in any lab setups. When I compared various machines that had been identical with the only difference being 7 vs 8 in any games I tested 8 had the better FPS and performance, given both OS's being on latest drivers and updates of course. Now by better I am not saying night and day difference, just a few % tops... XP vs. 7 I could understand. Some programs simply wouldn't work on 7 from XP but I have yet to find one that doesn't run on 8 that worked on 7. I am in the IT field if it helps my opinion any lol but I honestly say don't waste the space to dual boot, just run straight 8. Just about anything you may not like about it can be changed, including the start menu and screen until the MS patch is released. That said, most peoples problem dual booting something else with Windows 8 has to do with the secure boot loader or different bios that it uses. These features can be disabled without hurting anything though if need be. In my case I dual boot Windows 8 and linux.

Figured would post here in case anyone saw this as no admins looked to be on. That said, what's the ideal way to let someone know or send notification? Do you have an notification e-mail we could send to? Server died at aprox. 1705 eastern.

It can be done, I have Linux and Windows 8 on mine. That said, why dual boat 7 and 8? XP I could understand but 7 and 8 are so similar minus the start menu. The same software and drivers work on both even. I recommend 8 though because it has much better memory management thus runs faster.
