  1. I think I paid $29.99 for the 1500 acres about ten years ago. Maybe longer. Now "The Big Cheese", owner of the site, is selling 5 acre lots. I lucked out !!! Hopefully when my great grandkids inherit these acres, we will have colonized the moon. And my land is loaded with gold, silver, and moon dust !! Pluto is for sale for 250,000 on that site.
  2. I actually own 1500 acres on the moon. Have a deed and a map showing my land !! Some planets are for sale too. Go there and check it out. I have the deed and map in nice frames and displayed in our office area. https://lunarembassy.com/
  3. You have a link for idiots to read concerning this activity ? Sounds interesting.
  4. More miners, less chance you are part of a transaction.
  5. Damn $250 for an asic miner !! Ones I was looking at where $6000. That was 2 years ago.
  6. How much bandwidth do they use ? You check ebay for cards ?
  7. Have you seen the Mining motherboards that are out there. Crazy amount of video slots. 19 card slots on this one. How noisy is that asic miner ?
  8. We did too. At least we went above freezing today. Melted about 1/3" of the 12" we have received Damn ice in my gutters is crazy !!
  9. Yeah, But you have Crazy Nancy and your snowflake governor.
  10. Yep !! A watched pot never boils !!!
  11. Whats going up ? Plus that has to be a dream job !! I like blowing up stuff !! Who doesnt !!
  12. I have pictures somewhere of the 78 blizzard. Will dig them up. Snow drifts as high as the house I grew up in. We dug tunnels and made forts. Had fantastic snow ball fights !!
  13. Ooo !!! End Loaders ? Back Hoes ? I would love a small back hoe. Well my wife would. She is a dirt digger at heart !
  14. I too believe we are heading into another depression. The housing market is crazy here in the US (sellers market to the extreme). And those over-inflated prices are going to burst. Shit that should be in the $200,000 range is selling for $350,000. If the housing market "deflates", well so will the stock market drop. Lets hope we are wrong !! But... The writing is on the wall. Just a matter of when. And when the "housing" market pops, that is the best time to invest in real estate. The storm is coming, better be prepared.
  15. My wife said we have potential for 2 to 4 more tonight. We hit -4 last night, which for our Canadian brothers is nothing. But my ass cant stand it . That your building Bart ??
  16. I was 15 !!!
  17. I remember buying my first Queen album. I was in Columbus, Ohio at the Westland Mall at a music store (remember those). Mom always turned me loose to do whatever with some spending money. I didnt want to look at clothes all day !! Anyway I was rifling through the LP's when I saw Queens first album. Never heard of them, but the album cover caught my eye. Album covers were a big part of selling LP's. Hypnosis (spelling) was a big cover designer in the days. Anyway I bought the album, based on the cover and was blown away. After that I bought every Queen album that came out. Well until they went more pop oriented. After "The Game" I lost interest. Pink Floyd was same way. After "The Wall" it was "Water'd down" music. Get it "Water'd down" ???? Division Bell was "meh"
  18. Music went downhill from the late 80's on. Became to commercialized. To me the 60's and 70's saw the peak of music production. There are a few newer bands you can sprinkle in the good category.
  19. The 1978 Blizzard !! Remember that one Street !! Three times worse than this mess. You guys below I70 didnt get as much. But that 1978 Blizzard was great !!! Was in High School and had the whole week off !!!
  20. Sabbath is definitely on my desert island mix. Fairies Wear Boots is my favorite off of Paranoid. Masters of Reality we wore out cruising around and getting stoned. Hand of Doom is always on my playlist. Beef tongue !!! Grew up hunting and trapping, so Im use to eating weird shit (farm country). Pig brains, beef tongue, frog legs, squirrel, you name it we ate it. My dad grew up the oldest of 7 kids and his dad (my grandpa) died when he was 12. So my grandma had to go to work and he took care of the siblings. They fished local ponds with dynamite. That way they could get enough fish for the whole family quickly. My uncle actually lost some fingers due to playing with dynamite caps in the outhouse !! The only thing I would not try, that dad fixed, was Possum. Fuckers are ugly !!! My dad passed in 2019 and I miss his ass a lot. I was blessed with fantastic parents.
  21. I wasnt much of a Beatles fan growing up. But I am now. Never was a Clapton fan either, but have started listening to his back catalog of music. My taste in music goes from Herb Alpert to The Sex Pistols. I remember when "Never Mind The Bullocks" came out here in the US. Well it wasnt "officially" released Was actually banned here in the US. I stopped at our local gas station, as a teenager, and there was a boot leg 8-track there. The gas station carried boot leg 8 tracks. Quality was shit, but man that album changed music history !! ACDC High Voltage was another game changer, that was hard to find here in the US. Man I miss those days.
  22. Man thats a toss up !! If I had to choose one...... Damn .... I cant. Zep appeals to the Metal in me as well as their acoustic stuff. But The Beatles have a larger catalog of music and a broader range of style. But.... Zep is heavier and I like my "guitar" based rock. Guess I have to not choose either and go with UFO
  23. Be sure to research IRS form 7202 if you are self employed and were effected by the corona virus. You may qualify for "sick leave credit". Also if you tapped into your retirement you can do 3 year averaging and bypass the 10% penalty (up to 100k withdraw) if its corona related. Be sure to report the correct amount of EIP payments received in April and December. You may be eligible for more if you did not receive the full amount. Talk to your tax advisor.
