Thats true. Last year we were only open on Tuesday and Wednesday after April 15th. From 10am to 5pm. Shouldn't bitch, I guess. And most had picked up stuff by the end of May. We always have the habitual last minute Oct 15th clients though. Then we start in with farmers calling about whether they need to buy equipment.

We gets calls every year form people who do it online and really fuck things up The whole "interview interface" that these online systems use leaves out many important "deductions, stipulations and requirements" . A computer interview can not dig deep to see if one qualifies for certain tax breaks. Looks like a deadline extension may be announced at some point. July 15th like last year is my guess.

Should know by Friday if it passes and is signed. Anyone who has filed and had unemployment can do an amended return. To reduce their taxable income by the amount of unemployment they received up to the $10,200 limit. Unfortunately this puts pressure on the IRS and preparers when they pass legislation mid tax season. Morons !! Will check it out. The printer I have coming has a resume print feature. But if something goes fubar with it while printing I can see the advantage of remote shut down. I have an old linux based pc laying around. Used it to run some "video" programs back in the early 2000's. Its an old linux build for sure !!! But I can dust it off, update linux and check Octoprint out.

I have a microwave that the latch is cracked. Every year or so the glue breaks and I re-glue it. Tried JB Weld and others to make a permanent fix, but they give out. Now I can just draw and print off a new latch !! Maybe some custom volume / tone knobs for guitars. Looking foward to playing with it. Maybe in a few years the "metal" printers will come down in price !! Star Trek Replicators are on the horizon !!!

Thank You !!! I have CNC Machining background, so I am familiar with G-Codes and tooling offsets, etc.. So the calibration of the actual machine will be easy enough for me. I ordered a glass plate and the Z axis touch probe too. Its the learning curve on filament, which you enlightened me on. Greatly appreciated. Its coming with 2 rolls of PLA, not sure what brand though. I imagine the factory would not send PLA that doesn't work well. Should be here in a couple weeks. Next is research on 3d scanners !! You have any info on inexpensive scanners that work well ?

Blue Hawaii !!! I have a sealed original pressing of the same album hanging up. Mono version. I spend too much time shopping for vinyl. Cleaning vinyl. And listening to vinyl. Its an addiction. Well maybe not. I find it relaxing to clean and organize and listen to it. I have an 8 x 10 wall shelving unit I built to hold my main collection, but have ran out of space !! Have boxes stored in various places.

My daughter wants one for doing "Bath Bomb" molds. For her I would need something plug and play and simple. The one above is overkill for her. But I like the large print area on this one for myself. I worked several decades in the Aerospace business. Did some commercial stuff (Boeing, Airbus, etc.), but worked mainly on military jets and other military goodies. Main focus was wingtip fabrication (shit was done by hand forming, little tooling). Damn tolerances were +.003 -.002 on many items. Commercial was +/- .010 usually. Worked on B1, F117, F22, F15, F16, F18, SR71 etc.. Started during the Reagan era and retired a while back. But the company I worked for always set up at the Dayton Air Show and we always got free tickets. Was always hot as hell there, but loads of fun !!! I have a B52 map reading light I will take pics of and post sometime. Pretty cool little light. Fuckers were pricey !! That military mark up !! One year we went to the show and the Harriers kept overheating during their hover maneuvers. It was like 101 in the shade that day !! Fun times. I have not been in a few years. If they have it this year I will definitely go and take grandkids. But if you ever get a chance to go to an airshow do so !!!

Live area in my home studio. Have a 30 x 32 room with 10' ceilings. Natural reverb is pretty good in the room.

My cousin got chewed out by Paul Stanley back stage at a Kiss concert in Columbus. This happened many years ago. Funny story behind it. But my cousins son found a life size cut out of Paul and put it in the hallway of their house, so when his dad walked in from work, it was right in his face. He put a caption on it saying "Get the Fuck Out of Here" !! Which is what Paul told him backstage !!
