First Mr. Potato head I had as a kid just came with the arms, feet, eyes, etc.. But no body. You had to use a real potato. But that became an issue. Rotten potato's in kids toy boxes.

My favorite Kiss albums ? 1st - hmm. Kiss - Alive Even though this album was more studio than live. 2nd - (Close decision against 3rd)- Dressed to Kill 3rd Rock and Roll Over 4th Love Gun 5th Destroyer (yes I know kind of low in the list for a great album, but my opinion) 6th Kiss - Kiss 7th - Hotter than Hell - Good songs on it, but the production quality was shit !! Any others notice it suffered in fidelity ? 8 - Dynasty - The disco album !! Had a couple good tunes. After Dynasty I lost interest in them. I did buy Sonic Boom which has some great tunes, but not like the old stuff. Not knocking Eric and Tommy but Ace had the riffs. Aces solo stuff is more Kiss than new Kiss stuff.

Saw Eric Singer many times with Alice Cooper. He spent quite a few years with Alice and then with Alice and Kiss for a while. One of my favorite drummers is Cozy Powell.

Hmm. 1980 itself saw quite a few great lp's released. I'd say Right off the bat .... AC/DC Back in Black. Mutt Lange did a great job on it. Then you had British Steel (Judas Priest), I like Bowies Scary Monsters, but it didn't get very good reviews for some reason. Sabbath reincarnated with Ronnie at the helm (Heaven and Hell). VH Women and Children First !! J. Geils (Love Stinks), Gaucho (Steely Dan), Motorhead "Ace of Spades", The Pretenders, Ozzy (Blizzard), Lenon (double fantasy), Dire Straits (Making Movies). Plus many, many more. 1980 was a good year !! It all went to shit after 1985

I have no Epi's. I asked storm if any of his SG's were Epi's. Was curious as to the quality difference between then Gibbie's and Epi's. But he has all Gibson's. I have owned many Gibsons in the past. Probably 15 and I sold all of them, but my Gibson Corvus. Will not get rid of it. They are getting pretty rare. Ugly as hell, but they play extremely well. Produced from 80-83 I believe. But on the Epi's, the ones made in Korea are top notch and many times are a better quality than Gibson counter part. Gibson has been hit and miss on their quality. A friend of mine worked QC there and recently retired and he jokes about the quality all the time. Picture of the Corvus model. Ugly !!!
