  1. Didn't realize there was a "For Sale" section in the forum !!! While Im not selling anything, I am always looking for vintage late 60's through 70's stereo equipment. Im talking separate systems. No consoles or all in one systems. Silver faced stuff from Sansui, Pioneer, Marantz, McIntosh, Akai, Polk, etc.. Turntables, Reel to Reels, Receivers, Speakers, etc... Also always looking for media too. Vinyl, Reel to Reel tape, Cassette, 8 Track. Also into any musical instruments you may want to part with. PM me a detailed description ( Brand, model, condition) and an idea of what you want for the item. On vinyl and other media, I am into vintage rock, metal, blues, etc.., and I like my records (the vinyl) to be near mint or VG+ (no scratches). Cover shape doesnt matter as much.
  2. Merry Christmas and have a great new year X !!!
  3. Avalon Hill !!! They did Panzer Blitz , I believe. Use to play that alot as a kid.
  4. If its just the noise of picking up items then Get Rid Of It !!! Pain in the ass. May times I just walk around the stuff so I dont alert the next victim. Or dont.
  5. Forgot all about this tune !! I remember it as a kid and it was pretty powerful tune for the time. The funny part is how the lyrics still hold up, especially in todays culture. Too bad.... This is the original version by Henson Cargill. Was covered by other artist in the day.
  6. Rust Never Sleeps !!!!
  7. Coming to Ohio in March. Will be there !!!
  8. I have only built 2 Intel based rigs , since I began building my own pc's back in 1985. Even though AMD was a supplier of 286/386 cpu's to Intel, I always bought AMD branded cpu's (cost less). Its not that I dont like Intel, its always a cost performance decision. And I've built more pc's then I can remember. I've been planning a new game system and I did decide to go with Intel this time. And again, it is a performance / cost decision. Intel wins this time. The last Intel build was a i7-2700k rig, which I use in a DAW (digital audio workstation) PC. I built it in 2012 (I think). I do remember I dont like the way the Intel heat-sink attached to the motherboard. Real cheap locking mechanism. Anyone remember the magazine "Computer Shopper" ? What a big ass magazine it was !!! Was like the Sears Christmas catalog too me !! Loved it. Remember the company "Dirt Cheap Drives" ?

Thats a bunch of Brock !!!!
  10. I've played with Realestufa many times. And he does kick ass and he gets a lot of shit talk because of the winning. I mean a lot of shit talk !!! And yet with all the shit slinging others give him, he has always been respectful of others in game. Only recently a week ago did I hear him give someone shit back and it struck me as uncharacteristic of him. Someone was saying "your a hack" and "kick him", and Realestufa replied, "Learn to play better" !! I cracked up !!! And at the same time it seemed out of character for him. But one can only take so much shit talk and I imagined he had enough. Like I mentioned I have played with him many many times and he has tried to help others with config settings and game play to try and help them get better, but it falls on deaf ears. Bashing him in these posts, just because he is good ? Some will bash me, saying "Oh no, not because he is good, but because he knows he is good and is being conceited". Well, I have news, he isn't the only "conceited" clan member. And I believe its all the "slamming him", that has made him defensive in his posts. If he was a shitty player, there would not be any discussion. Lets see how many "bash" me for my reply.

Senn. Headset !!!! I own many Sennheiser headphones. Love the HD650's for listening to music, and use 280's for tracking in the studio. Always wondered what their gaming sets are like. Be sure to do a review on the Headset !!!
  13. They are more interested in the clam shells and snail shells they find
  14. If you have your PC or video drivers set to auto update, that can cause issues. Check and see when the drivers were installed (if auto update). If the date installed is when the issues arose, then thats the answer. Rollem back and shut of auto updates.
  15. Yeah, I wouldn't donate it to a museum. Maybe on loan. No broken edges on it. Very nice shape.
  16. Congrats !!! Have that ball framed !! During a scramble or just out ?
  17. Oh yeah !!! Crappie, Bluegill and Catfish galore up there. Fried in beer batter !!!!
  18. Spear point may be on point (no pun intended) .
  19. Yeah sort of. Forgot to put in dimensions. Will edit original post. As my son pointed out. He said "God usually does not carve rocks in a straight line"
  20. We own a summer lake house at Indian Lake, Ohio (been in the family for 50 years). Our grand kids enjoy going under water and scooping up rocks, mud ,sand and fish shit. They then keep the shiny rocks and throw the rest back in. My siblings and I did the same as kids. Anyway they found this. Its 58mm or 2.28" long by 11mm or .43" at the widest point. And 7mm or .27" thick at the thickest point. When looking at it from the end, it is a tapered diamond shape. The Shawnee, Hopewell and a few other tribes lived in this area. Behind our cabin is a prehistoric Hopewell burial mound. I think it is a cutting tool ? Or it could be nothing. Please chime in !!! Oh yeah, I came across this old photo of my dad taken on great day of fishing at Indian Lake. Man that was 30 + years ago. Also threw in a sunset view (taken a few days ago).
