I haven't played on any other servers, don't give any care to ranking up. Just want to play with Idiots. I usually like DM or FFA, whichever you call it. I would play most any of the game styles as long as there is someone to shoot and knife, and shoot and knife back at me.

thanks for all the replies. I thought it would have been more stable after 7 updates, and thought it was just an issue on my side. Maps are plenty in my folder, I have never deleted any of them. Guess I'll just let it do it's thing, just if I don't remember to get out in time and it crashes I have to wait a few minutes cause it gives me the "duplicate qupert" error, but it usually works again after a couple minutes.

thanks deejay, i did try that the other day, and it worked as far as not crashing. but basically what you're saying is if I already have the next map downloaded and don't have to download it between games then I won't crash? I can handle that, just get all the maps downloaded and it will stop. ok

I can get into a map, and play a whole round, but when the map is over, and next map starts to load, I just crash back to windows. Running win7 x64. Just wondering before I uninstall and reinstall and patch back up to 1.7 if anyone has any ideas as to why I might be crash at rotation only.

I have seen the power supply cause symptoms like this. Has a pc that would crash often, took every thing out of it except hard drive and it ran for days just fine, added things back one by one, such as power to dvd drive, then put TV card back in, then vid card. it would run everything up till the last component was added. removing any one of them would stabilize the whole thing. turn out that it had shorted out on the extra 4 pin plug to motherboard, but it could keep up as long as not too many things were draining it. I am not a long time pc repair, just hobby in it a little, learning as I go. But if it were drivers causing the problem, wouldn't it show it's ugly head just running the operating system and not wait till he starts gaming? please explain if I'm missing something, may help me out down the road.

not sure about the specific error you show, but reminded me of something I remembered seeing a few days ago.. Several different antiviruses are seeing BF3 as a trojan. might try disabling any antivirus you have running.

WOW!!! It really is touching to hear how you all help others in need. I have done some small things from time to time, never on a repeat like some of you. I do however give money to my employer every year for the Angel tree. However much money our plant raises, our boss/employer, will match it. Last year we raised enough to buy gifts and food for over 30 families. Our break room at work was loaded last year with a ton of stuff under our Christmas tree. And Dean, it is extremely wonderful to hear that with all of your physical troubles with health, and living situation, that you still love GOD. I don't know how many times I've seen people lose faith because things aren't going the way they want them to. I am far from a good Christian, but I am a firm believer, and always take the given opportunity to share what God has done for me and my family. With all that said, ya'll are makin me want to go find a Salvation Army around here to give to.

My wife and I went out of town shopping with my parents today. We had an exciting start too. Less than a mile from their house in town, we came up on a 2 vehicle accident just as one of the rigs was leaving. The other driver was just standing there looking them drive off with shock on his face. My Dad was driving us, and being the old hot rodder he is, he stomped on it and caught up to the rig that left and we got the license plate number, then passed them and started blocking the road Dukes of Hazard style till the guy caught up with us, and we forced her to a stop in the middle of the highway. With us both blocking the road, she reluctantly pulled over in a gas station parking lot maybe a mile from the accident. The guy had already tried to call 911 and didnt get through so I called it again for him. About an hour later, I got a call from an officer asking questions and said I need to fill out a report, but I told him we didn't witness the wreck itself, just the fleeing part and helped stop her. So don't really know whats going to happen now, he did tell me she was getting at least 2 citations though. So anyway, our good deed for the day. Just hope we're that lucky if it ever happens to us. Although my wife did have it happen once, and had to chase the person down herself, with no witnesses, but luckily the cop followed the same path they had, and saw the peices of her grill in the road several blocks away, so the other guy couldn't lie his way out. Moral to all this, if you screw up, face it. Don't run off, that's just lame. Ok, I'm done.

not much to enjoy when they are assholes. I suspect she'll just stick to the ace mod on XI where it is fun. she's a preschool teacher who works with mentally and physically disabled children, she's got a big heart that shouldn't have to put up with that. and she is very thick skinned, she doesn't hesitate to tell her honest opinion either.

I have heard some talking about console gaming as well as pc. Are you able to play on XI servers from a console? Mainly Xbox 360. My wife loves to play in the servers with us, and she bought both of us a copy of MW3, one for me on my pc, and one for her Xbox360. She played for the first time on a random server, and everyone kept calling her a "stupid bitch", so she hasn't even tried to play again from the Xbox. She does play the Ace Mod from her pc from time to time and enjoys the respect from the players there. So any way, to make a long question short, is it possible to play on XI servers from her Xbox360? If not, then I guess it's about time to upgrade her pc again so she can get some more games on it. On another note, Thank You XI clan members and loyal others for the respect you show, and the good times you provide. She handles it well when called "names" in XI servers because she knows it's in good fun, but those on the Xbox were not goofing, and it really seemed to break her heart.

I had a great day with family too. But knowing that you had that great of a day makes it even better.

nearly every time the server starts filling up and we get to having some real good fun, the ping jumps way up, and everybody bails. been this way for a couple weeks or longer. im with Bama, it's getting very old

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Hope everyone has safe trips to and from where ever you go. I have to agree about the family thing like Beer said, that's what it's all about. Enjoy it while it lasts. I still have both my parents and both my in-laws, but for my Mom, this will be her first year without her mother and I suspect it's gonna be a semi rough day.

I'm not XI but this clan's servers are the only place I play too. I have the game and have been in a few times, I don't care about ranking up, it just gets old waiting on someone to see me in there and come join. Sometimes I have waited a whole map or 2 before leaving. I myself like the FFA, but it would be nice for a speedier version more like ace mod if that ever becomes possible.

Hogs have dominated nearly every game, only 1 loss to Bama. I don't usually keep up with this stuff myself, but with the Hogs playing like they have this year, I can't help but to keep up.
