As far a scripture goes, the Bible told about this happening TO Israel. A LONG time ago. It was their punishment for worshiping idols, one of the many times they were punished. This type of situation is not mentioned in "Signs of the End Times" within the scripture. Lots of people will eventually come across that scripture telling about this, but they won't read the part that says when it happened. It was a prophecy that already been fulfilled thousands of years ago. Personally I feel like the environmental problems, or conspiracies are more apt to be the cause of these things. The again, I have long thought that the end would be brought on by man trying to play God ; ie cloning, weather manipulation, fetus tampering, and things of that nature.

huh, i installed mine on drive d: and its in the players folder where he was looking at first. win7 x64, with UAC on. maybe it's just cause i installed it on a different drive from the OS.

very true Noears. most any thing can be obtained again, but lives can not. i didn't mean to sound materialistic. people we're asking what i wanted to save from my home before it caught too, and all i could say was help me find the cat, and get my dog off it's chain. on my way home I was worried that the neighbors were ok, cause I knew jerry would have been asleep, he works 3rd shift. once i saw him and his family by the cop cars, adrenaline took over. the fire dept keeps asking me to join, but we are trying to sell our house and move across town now, or I probably would join. they saved our neighborhood 3 times in the last 5 years.

Thank you for the prayers and concerns. Talked to the neighbor this afternoon, and we're working on finding them some clothes and things for now. He said it would be the end of the week before his insurance told him anything. Praying for the best outcome for them.

Sorry to hear about losing the kitty.

First day back to work yesterday and my wife call after lunch. Neighbors house was on fire. I actually got here with the first fire truck, and had to spray my own house to keep from losing it too. the fire was so hot, and no fire hydrants in our neighborhood, that the fire dept emptied 4 full size trucks and at least 1 pumper truck, refilled a couple trucks and emptied them again. they have returned 2 more time throughout the night to knock it back down again. it was 100% loss, the only thing still standing is the back porch. I have a couple cracked windows, and possibly some roof damage, but the neighbor lost everything. I knew our prayers had been answered when I saw the damage to my gas meter on the side of my house, all the bushes on that side are burned. my neighbor realized his house was gone, and told the fire dept to focus on mine, and they had to call another fire dept for back up to save mine at that point. if you pray, please pray for my neighbors, they are going to need all the help they can get.

I've had some issues with mine for the last week as well. It seems as though it is on the ISP side is the culprit, as my download should be 10Mbps, and my up should be 1Mbps, all week, I have averaged less than 4Mbps down, and less than 1 up. noticed on nights my ping would spike that I was only getting about 1.5 down, and about 200k up. I have tech coming tuesday to check my modem, and drop line. I'm on a cable package, TV/Internet/Phone, so the modem gets a workout, I hope that it's just time for a new one.

i have learned over the last few years, that if you're going to build a pc for specific games, then you should go almost double the recommended specs, especially if it's an Activision game, at least on the CoD series. Sierra is more trustworthy on the specs actually needed for decent play (F.E.A.R.). As far as your video card thing, I have been using this for a while now to help narrow down for myself. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/ i have also decided on the above stated card the GTX 460, plan on getting the superclocked one myself, it's got a $10 rebate most places bringing it down to $199.0, don't know what this is in pounds, but it's decent price.

Don't get me wrong, i still play the hell out of my modern warfare, love it, and have a great time with the folks in there. just got the BFBC2 for a Christmas present played the single player a few minutes today, and wasn't really impressed with it, but am gonna give it a chance. i'll find ya'll in there sometime, I'm off all this next week. I plan on at least getting my 100 hours in on the servers, and maybe getting lucky along the way.

ok, i tried this, and it didn't seem to help me. it must be something in my router (lynksys E3000), or ISP (suddenlink cable). i ping the server @53ms with 0% packet loss. (cod4 acemod server). i seems as though it just does it if I am using internet on other machines while gaming, whcih doesn't make sense since I'm on cable. any other ideas for this ping spike in win7 64 home prem. we do have issues from time to time with low down/up speeds, but this has been going on all week with spikes. when it's normal it's between 50 and 70

Being a believer in Christ as I am, I still don't believe that 2012 is the end of the world. The Book says that none will know the time except the Father of Heaven. So scripture rules out 2012 for me. I do however think that Something significant will happen. Signs of the times are apparent already, one of which being that so many mock those that do believe and attempt to warn. As well as the persecution of Christians. And I wouldn't wait for any certain date to become prepared for an end, salvation is free to those who earnestly ask. I don't normally push my Christian values unless an opportunity such as this is presented. God Bless
