Wow wiz.... I have had many I have lost in the last 2 years to suiside drunk driving and all kinds of mess. Sick of Funerals. I am so sorry to read this and it hits hard. I have lost a lot of close friends, 4 in the last few months and I think now how I would deal if it was my brother or someone that close. I am devastated every time. A close friend of my girlfriend and I just killed him self in a car wreck behind her house, He was leaving a wake for another friend that just passed in a motercycle wreck 2 days earlier. Only thing I see right off is I personally would not ever go with a dual GPU vid Card. Too much extra heat and you get 2X 5850's in that card if I am correct and they are both underclocked a good bit. The clock on most of those cards are 750MHz Core and 1000MHz Mem a stock refrence 5870 is 850MHz core and 1200MHz mem. On teh memory it is the diffrence of a stable 4GHz effective or 4.8GHz Memory bandwith. Also if the app or game does not support Crossfire you will be just cooking the other half of the card. Just my 2 cents.

If windows in Genuine it will be fine, If the chipset and all is the same. If there is any problem you can also make a copy of your regestry I guess and make a copy of documents and programs folder. Then you can just copy the Programs folder back and restore the regestry. You should not have to go threw all that though. Same MOBO = FINE in most cases.
