Do I Really Affect The Ace Mod That Much?
Steak replied to BigPapaDean's topic in General Discussion
Camping is why I rarely play COD4 ACE anymore. I find trying to elude you a challenge. If you aren't enjoying yourself anymore come over to COD5 DM Dean. Your blade is always welcome there and camping tends to be minimal. -
Well Done. That show is too good for TV.

I have read the first 3 books 3 times over the past 10 years. Incredible series with the best character development I have ever seen. I never read A Feast For Crows because I heard that Tyrion Lannister isn't in the book and it pissed me off. I do own it and am about to start reading it. As far as the TV series goes, I have seen Season 1 and was very impressed. I did have to get used to a good looking Tyrion though. In the book he is a hideous waddling dwarf with miss-matched eyes and ugly features. The guy that plays him does such a good job that i forgot about it pretty quickly. Looking forward to watching Season 2.

Top 5? That's impossible for me. A smattering of my favorites would be: Midnight Run, Blade Runner, Pulp Fiction, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Das Boot, Desperado, Alien, Ben-Hur (possibly the best movie ever made), The Godfather (the original), Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Blackhawk Down, Platoon, Forest Gump, The Matrix, The Terminator (original), Raising Arizona, Fargo.......... The mindless action movies today tend to be very weak on character development and absurdly strong on explosions and gunplay in my opinion.

Please Welcome Budman To The Cod4 Admin Team
Steak replied to Ruggerxi's topic in User Announcements
BUDMAN! Congratulations! I'm sure that you will do a great job. -
Unit cohesion and male bonding in my opinion are critical factors that would be jeopordized if females actually ended up in the field along side of men. Not to mention the female "self maintenance" issues that would make them a liability. Amazing.

How Did You Invent Or Come Up With Your In-Game Name
Steak replied to Cross's topic in General Discussion
Back in the 90's I played Delta Force online and my name was "SteakKnife" because i used the CQB knife perk. Players would always refer to me as "Steak" when typing messages to me (before headsets) and I eventually shortened my name to just "Steak".
