I've been watching and listening to these people since it started & I still can't figure out exactly what they want. Every protest group I've ever seen could easily articulate what it was they wanted, who they wanted to do it and what it would take for them to go away. This group of societal misfits doesn't seem to be able to do any of the above. It's embarrassing to watch! It seems to me they should all at least meet in Washington D.C. and set up shop there because that's the only place where people reside that could even begin to address their grievances (whatever they are). LMFAO!

I have given up on the ACE mod for this very reason. It is a totally different server now from what it was just a year ago. Too bad. It would be the best server out there bar none if not for the excessive camping (both spawn and conventional). I don't know what happened but it spiraled out of control quickly early in the year in my opinion. I am biased though as I am an old school run-&-gunner.

Hey all. Just wondering, is it me or is the time span for running a lot shorter than before? I played a few maps last night & it seemed like I only had about 3 seconds of sprinting before going back into a snail-like walk.

LOL +1. I didn't realise you could go out a buy a machine gun. You might as well of bought a mini gun! It isn't fully automatic. It is simply a civilian semiautomatic version. Fully automatic machine-gun type weapons were outlawed for sale in the USA in the 1990's. Other than the high capacity magazine, it really isn't much different than a conventional semiautomatic hunting rifle when it comes right down to it. Handy little rifle though and very capable of "taking care of business" should the situation arise!

Thanks Heff, I wasn't sure about that. I knew that they were used extensively in the Pacific.

The P-38 is my favorite Allied fighter from WW2, next to the P-51 Mustang and of course the Spitfire. German ME-109 was a great plane as well. I believe that the P-38 was used exclusively in the Pacific Theater.

I must be a dinosaur. I still use a Weber kettle with charcoal briquets!

I used to play on the ACE mod all of the time but I have really lost interest over the past 6-8 months because of this very thing. It isn't the same server it once was and the gameplay has changed dramatically. I frequently played for hours on weekends but now I've had it after a few maps

I like a few smaller maps thrown in as a change-of-pace but I prefer larger maps in general. Especially if it is a server that is heavily populated most of the time.
