I remember seeing those guys(MC5) along with the Amboy Dukes in a converted bowling alley when I was 15 years old.1966 and a lot of us didn't have FM radio and colour TV was kinda just coming out. This Tube Works show was broadcast weekly in the Detroit /Windsor area and back then we had a radio station that was famous all around the nation CKLW AM.Yes no FM for you kiddies.I'm telling you when the music changed we had it all and all the artist were coming to town playing on the roof of the radio station.Tons of Motown artists for free or you had the Grande Ballroom in Detroit where you could see artist like Zepplin, Savoy Brown, Seger,Amboy Dukes,The Who and many more for only $2.I seen the Stooges for $2 at my high school. These guys were just starting. In fact the Temptations and Martha Reeves would pay there own way across trhe border to get exposure from that radio station.Amboy/Pwrcrzy that 1st clip is taking in your home towns.Notice these guys didn't have all that digital and powerful amplifier stuff just raw power.
