I had a friend that asked if he could come by and shoot his new 45 ACP at my target range. We went in my back yard and set up the target. We stepped back about 25' and he tried to chamber the first round. It jammed. He handed me his firearm and I took the bullet out and handed it to him. I ask him if I could soot one round, he said go ahead. Just touching the bulls eye with the first round. What luck. He shot the next 5 rounds. We walked back to my pistol/rifle bench which is about 75' away from the target. He reach in his pocket and pulled out the one that jammed. He handed me his handgun and the bullet and asked if I could put it in. I asked since it was in my hand could I take the shot. He said what ever. I shot it and he was going to walk away and I said let go see where it hit. Neither one of us could see it cause we are both old with bad eyes. When we walked up to the target I threw my arms in the air and yelled Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner. You should have seen the look on his face.....PRICELESS
I went out and bought a lottery ticket. Guess I am not that lucky.
