I had a similar problem with my system just recently. I was baffled. Well it is finally fixed. Quite a long process but it worked. I uninstalled the video driver. Rebooted then i uninstalled the sound driver. Rebooted.....Ran driver cleaner. Rebooted...Installed the video driver...Rebooted.....Reinstalled Sound driver. Rebooted... It works fine now. The reason I did that was of the ATI driver come with a high definition sound driver. I dont know if that was the problem but it worked. Also when your computer locks up take a note of the time. When you reboot go to start and right above the start button type in there event viewer in there you will find the exact error. Google that error. Dust is a bad thing and sorry mate its a trial and error thing.

If you do something like that hold that recite and make sure you get one. I believe its like a 30 day wait and if nobody claims it...it is yours. If someone claims it get a name and follow up on it. That's what I would do. But I really think Sun came up with the best solution......maybe its Gods way of helping you out.

Too funny. I hope you dont mind but I gonna use that. My trip to Wal Mart I brought my wife in her wheel chair to the service counter. When the lady ask me if she could help I said yes I would like to return her she dont work anymore. The expressions were priceless. When I use to bring my x-wife to yard sales I would introduce her if she opened her mouth by saying "yea this is my wife I brought her with just to keep from having to kiss her goodbye. The expressions were priceless....lol
