I want to ask that we pray for the family of Jimmy Goad
Jimmy was one of the greatest people I have ever been blessed to say I know, He had a heart of gold, he would do anything for anybody no matter what cost it was to him, he directly supported 3 families, and 50-60 people depended on his help. You see he went around and fixed things that people needed fixed, from roofing to simple fixes, my grandmother had a list for him everytime he showed up. He took care of my father and checked in on him while I lived out of state. He looked like a bear, but his heart was that of a puppy.he couldnt show up to your location when he said he would (many irritating hours waiting) sometimes it would take him a week to make it out to see us. he worked about 18-20 hours a day 7 days a week. I knew him for 8 years and only a hand full of days did he relax, if you called what he did relaxing. he was 43 years old and died of a heartattack thursday morning. he passed out on a roof and the ems got him down and worked on him for 2 hours before they decided his heart was too weak to support life. He had battled cancer 4 different times in his late 20's and early 30's and like the bear he was, kicked cancers ass to the curb every time. His wife is completely lost, this is a case where the family is totally dependent on the husband/father, you see he took care of everything, now they are left with nothing except a memory, when I say he took care of everything I mean it. there are even some things he took care of for my father on a daily bases that I didnt even know. It will take 5 men to replace him to do the amount of work he did. for our boss Mickey, he was both his right hand and his left hand, will take 2 people there. over 200 rental units to upkeep, his personal buisness will take 1 or 2 to keep the pace up, his wife needs someone to do the things he did, and then there is us, it will take us hiring someone to replace him. so if you ever hear of someone saying, 1 man cant do the work of 5, I call bullshit and direct them to Jimmy. I have been extremely lucky in my 31 years as I have only lost sick relatives or old relatives, but I have never lost a best friend. I am lucky because I can carry on with my life and just have hurt, his family can not carry on very well without him. I will miss him dearly. so please my xi family please keep the Goad family in your prayers.
