Yeah I would love to put my 8600gt xfx in here but it is a nvidia I am making the switch to ati nvidia just cant get their shit together when it comes to driver issues

I have never overclocked one but if you can push it hard with overclocking with no problems then I know running it at stock it is gonna be smooth as butter.

yes the 5770 is an ok card but does run dx11 the 4879 saphire is a higher end card that only does dx10.1 I have no need for dx11 so I would rather get a more workable card can handle over clocking more and farther. I had same discussion with dread about why I should choose the 4870 over the 5770. and when he explained to me that I could push the 4870 harder I had to agree

well I have found the 4870 its $150 but it is a really really good one so I have to quit buying rc stuff cabin fever made me buy some more rc cars. Thank you all for the recommendations

Yeah I have been having problems with this card from day 1 its mostly the nvidia software that doesnt like 64bit second 64bit comp I had problems with running nvidia. the new glitching was proceded with video error shut downs, so going by everything that has led up to the squares I have to say it is the very cheap card (its the bottom of the line) I am pretty sure that the software issues have really taxed the already crappy card)

Well it is official I con not play on the servers until I get a new vid card. This crappy 220 that came with this machine has now gotten to the point it can not even handle playing 2 videos back to back (lock the comp up) now on the servers I get a few mins then I glitch out (scuares) and locks up F**K NVIDIA 4870 here I come (as soon as I can afford it) I will be passing around a please help this sorry idiot jar. I expect all members to put a $1 in it Just kiddin, I will be back to playing as soon as I get one but for now you all have to find another target

I figured you had did you click the box in the in game menu for smooth mouse not sure what it does just throwing stuff out there until someone that might actually know comes along and answers. I know I would rather be sitting there trying stuff that probally wont fix my problem rather than waiting for the absolutely correct one to come around. I guess it just gives me something to do lol good luck I hope someone helps you figure it out

Did you get the memory test and other tests run? What did you find? I bet if you didnt find anything you have seriously considered getting the sledge hammer out. possibly have even made it into your comp room holding it ready to swing. I have been there a few times myself I usually cant swing though. Funny story though I have a monitor that was my buddies it would overheat and if you smacked the top the picture would come back his comp room was a 4*2 1/2 foot closet anyways I heard this loud banging it was him with a shelf off his tv stand and he had beat the crap outta this monitor. broke the case lol I took the monitor made a new case and put fans in it still works fine to this day even though it leaks emf's I no longer use it bc after about 5 minutes sitting in front of it I get dizzy and sick to my stomache the moral of the story DONT swing the hammer it will only make you dizzy lol

I tried the reasoning with her but that didnt do any good. I could just move but since november (when we first had disagreements over utilities) it has become a case of legality I have learned that she has been able to bully people out even though there was a lease, I am stubborn and trying to let her know we arent gonna be pushed around. on dec 23 propane was delivered on dec31 I received a call from her stating that $400 of propane had been used we left for my families house on dec 22 and didnt return until jan 4 thermostat was set on 60 degrees during that time oh I should mention I am on a well for water during that time the temp was -25 for lows and -5 for highs thats farenheit. no pump heaters are used and the water didnt freeze wasnt running or anything that is how much heat is being lost due to holes in the duct work. I mentioned this and she said bc we are using so much utilities they can afford to fix anything haha she now wants us to pay taxes and insurance on her house. we will probally move after the judge makes his decision which could be april 1 or all the way to the middle of june the funny thing is even if the judge rules in april he has to give us 60 days and at that point we would only be 2 weeks from origional lease termination anyways. but I am still worried about getting evicted I guess it is a pride thing my dad who is a landlord himself told me to let her cut the electricity let the pipes freeze b4 we move so it would cost her alot to fix. Even though that sound funny as hell being without electricity would kill my fragile fish (which we are giving back to the pet store when we move due to the length of the trip). any member here have any legal advise background on the right of tenants and leases my landlord is tring to raise my rent or evict me bc she is saying I am using to much electricity and propane. I have 4 months left on my lease and "she is good friends with the judge we will be going infront of for the eviction process. I pay my rent on time my house stays at about 70 degrees and her words are I should be bundled up wearing thermals and a coat while I am relaxing in my house. There is a clause in the lease that states they may raise the rent if we use excess utilities. Which I took as excess utilities not what is needed to stay comfortable. our holding tank (for sewage) is 2000 galons and it has to be pumped every 23-25 days there is 2 of us in the house national average is 70-100 gallons per person per day. we dont use near that but according to her that is excessive also, I mean we cant flush our toilet but 4 times a day and still we are using too much. I dont want to move yet as I hate moving but I need advice to handle this especially since the judge is her friend. and yes I am aware that "the bitch is just crazy" but somehow I dont think that will hold up in court thank you all for any advice you can give me

dont just go by the said watts look for atleast 2 12v rails and atleast 19amps per rail you could buy a 1000 watt ps that would not be good enough really look over the specs

test your power supply when they start to go you get very eratic blue screens as it is "dropping" items like hd's mem, video and much more most people overlook the PS and replace everything else tring to solve the problem

Well my vote is in and from what I read from all three stories she definitely is the most deserving. She sounds like such a tough kid. I could not imagine having to help take care of my parents at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
