Good suggestions. Is it any wonder that people are flocking in droves to appliance devices like consoles and tablets? Who wants to deal with all of this crap? Don't know where you get all this just format the drive stuff?, i right click my C drive and only get this message "This drive contains volumes of Windows that you are using, formatting this volume could cause your PC to stop working" so no option to format that drive at all, i also don't get any "quick format" options either, bottom line it will not let me format my "C" drive, but again nobody read my post, my PC was completely locked up, had no way or no way i knew to unlock it, that's the whole point they lock your PC up so you cannot get out and format this do that or whatever else. if u go to control panel .....then go to administrative tools then disk partition u can do it there and yes if u format the hard drive that way it will delete ur windows files and ur pc wont work then u have to reinstall windows ....i really wouldnt suggest that its best to do what i say in above post I don't have any options to delete partitions in "control panel administrative tools" Cobra, i have something that i paid for and was pre-loaded on my PC called "Acronis True Image" that can be accessed when the PC is booting, basically it's the same thing, you can change or delete partitions etc, that is what i did, i restored my PC back to it's original factory settings and started from scratch. hmmmm was no need for that program to even be on ur pc..wow.but u should still have the same options i have its typical windows files that default on pc...when u click admin tools...click computer management then in left pane click the disk management then u will see ur disk(s) partitions then u rt click on it and it will give u all ur options what to do with the partition. forgive me sob i am a pc tech i just know where this stuff is at on pc lol Yes there was need for that program Cobra, this actually takes the place of your Original settings disk that you used to get free with all PC's but it seems it's something else they have taken off us, instead of a Disk to restore your PC to it's original state i have this program to do it, but for the life of me when i go in there to look at it, it takes me ages to figure out what to do again, i need to be a boffin like to understand it

I know Rock but like i said, i had never heard of this thing before, i thought it was genuine and to my deep shame i fell for the con and i had no way of knowing how to unlock my PC to even ask for help, i know it happened because i had my Firewall switched off because it had caused a problem with a game or a program, i can't even remember which one now, but Firewall is on all the time now.

I can't find anything in your link that tells you how to get into a locked Computer, all them fixes are only if you still have access, how can i use a Malware program if i can't get my PC to work? Dean a similar thing got me here about 6 months ago, i had never heard anything about this at all, it said it was from the Metropolitan police and that my address had been found to have pirated movies music, and possible child porn, well i know before my son went back to work on a cruise ship in Australia he downloaded a shit load of movies and music, so i thought they had targetted that but when "child porn" is mentioned you come out in a cold sweat. The only way out of it is to have a good Firewall running in the first instance ( i had mine switched off at the time) if it does get you, you need 2 computers ( i will try to find my sons e-mail with the link on how you get rid of it) or the last option you have to go and pay them what they are asking and they will unlock your PC, i heard even the fix with 2 PC's is still very hard to get rid of it and rarely works.

How does someone just holding down the speak key and not talking stop others from speaking? unless they have something going on in the background then i don't understand it.

Xfire is a requirement for all members and all future members, always has been for as long as i can remember, as for people been hacked through Xfire, i can't recall one XI member ever posting to that happening....paranoid yes i should say so.
