Very strange m8, i just played 2 maps, quit, then tried to get back in just to test it out.....pale blue screen again, i am totally baffled by this. i t's putting me off buying BF4 to be honest, never get shit like this from Steam, yet most seem to have a hang up with Steam, they should try Origin.

I could scream man, i typed in address bar Firefox, i got the browser back so i went into options again but this time in options instead of setting homepage i clicked to leave a blank screen, still having Chrome as my default browser i tried BF3, just like yesterday it fired up immediately and never got the pale blue screen, i am totally confused at the moment, just wondering if when i log on tomorrow if i am gonna get pale blue blank screen again, anyone know where my options are in Chrome so i can maybe fix it in there?

Problem is Bill i can't usually get in to check anything, we really shouldn't have to do all that shit, i am sure 99% of people playing this game have not had to all that shit, how is anybody supposed to know all that. I don't understand when you say you have to log in to Origin then open Firefox, i can still launch game either by clicking icon on desktop or starting through Origin but as i said game just freezes on the Battlelog, just tried to change my Homepage to Chrome again through Firefox options (which worked for me yesterday) now if i click on Firefox i get "The address isn't valid" and "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded" i just don't get it, how do i now get back into my Firefox options to change stuff without uninstalling again, i give up.

I have no idea Deejay, i installed Google Chrome after having problems with my Battlelog screen freezing up since Endgame came out, i made Chrome my default browser and first time i tried to play BF3 it played ok until i got xfire and tried to get out of game, when i tried to minmize the game crashed and since then i only get a pale blue screen through Chrome, so since then to play BF3 again i have to go and make Firefox my default browser again, but yesterday i went into options in Firefox and it told me that Firefox was my default Homepage wtf? even though i had chrome as my default browser, so i changed the Homepage in Fireox to make it Chrome Homepage then tried the game, it worked great under Chrome i played for about an hour with no problems, not even any lag, then i thought i would get rid of Firefox, so i unpinned it from my taskbar and tried to uninstall it, it wouldn't let me because it said it was still running, i couldn't find it runnig anywhere so i left it, i logged on this morning and tried BF3 through Chrome, again pale blue screen, i did then manage to uninstall Firefox but it never made it better so i have reinstalled Firefox again and i will once again change my homepage to Chrome and see if that works, i think there must be a conflict somwhere between the 2 browsers but as Firefox don't seem to want me to get rid of it i am at a loss what to do, gotta say i find Firefox more user friendly than Chrome but maybe that is because i have used it for so long, i can't seem to find anything in Chrome to set my homepage there as i could in Firefox ie click options then change it there, i can't find anything like that in Chrome, anyone have an idea about that or where it is?

Fuck this i thought i fixed it, played yesterday not a problem, got in through Chrome too, now i get the pale blue screen again, i am about to give up on this shit, i deleted Firefox, don't have it anymore but still not working.

I am very sad to hear this Hxtr, Chiefbsr was one of the first people i ever sponsored for membership here at XI, i always looked upon him as a friend and enjoyed playing with him, i know he has had a lot of trouble over Christmas, hope the stress that was brought on by that never caused him to have this stroke, please tell him i wish him all the best and that he has a full and speedy recovery and hope he gets back on our servers as soon as possible Hxtr

As long as it don't turn into a competition, we should be looking for suitable members in all game groups.

It might show we have 500 members but around 90 of those are inactive and do not, or hardly ever bother to log on to the website anymore.

While we can't force anybody to play just "Shotguns" or just "Knives" but if they are disrupting the server and upsetting other players all the time with their bad attitude then we will step in, i already had a complaint about him a couple of days ago, let me look into this. Finally sorted it, i hope, about 5 minutes after i posted this i discovered what the problem was with Google Chrome after about 4 weeks,, just played with Google Chrome as my browser and got in no problem for a change and with no lag too, things are looking up.

Does anyone have Google Chrome as their internet browser and also play BF3, just wondering if everything runs ok, i started using this a few weeks back because since the new Endgame DLC/Maps etc the Battlelog would just freeze up under my old Firefox browser, sometimes it lets me play after a re-boot sometimes it don't but under Google Chrome when i click on Origin or the BF3 icon i just get a very pale blue, but blank screen and the game never starts, i can't understand it at all, just wondering if anyone else has encountered any of these problems with either browser?

This slow download thing has been happening to me now for about 3 weeks, at first i would quit then delete the map but when i started again i still got a slow download, so instead of deleting map and all it's files i just quit and try again and it downloads at normal speed.
