Hi all I’m back mucking about with my cod2 map mp_path_to_glory but can't open the compile tools the assent manager and effects all open fine ? all flies  are in the same place

1. Fix the Installation Path

The CoD2 Compile Tools require an exact directory path to function properly. If you installed the game to a custom folder, the tools won't know where to look.

Go to your Call of Duty 2 installation folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 2).

Open the bin folder.

Locate CoD2CompileTools.exe and double-click it.

If a browse window appears, click Browse and select your main Call of Duty 2 directory. Once saved, you should see the map lists populate under the "All Maps" tab.

2. Run as Administrator

Windows security settings often prevent old tools from modifying or creating files.

Right-click CoD2CompileTools.exe.

Select Properties > Compatibility.

Check the box for Run this program as an administrator.Hit Apply and OK.

3. Change Compatibility Mode

Because Call of Duty 2 is an older title, running the tools in an older Windows environment helps bypass crashes.

In the same Compatibility tab, check the box to Run this program in compatibility mode for:.

Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 7 from the drop-down menu.Click Apply and OK.

4. Install Legacy DirectX and Visual C++Mod tools rely on older system libraries that modern versions of Windows do not install by default.

Hi m8 did all the above still not opening ? will look into it a bit more ? it did open  before not sure why  it doesn’t now will keep you posted

One of the main things is to make sure your game is in a pure state with out any mods.

Make sure everything is on your default drive. I am going to add @LOCO because he may be able to help you get radiant going

have you tried reinstalling the mod tools

 Hi uninstall the tools now seeing this ?  a valid call of duty 2 installation could not be found at the path specified ? i have put in  c drive  program files x86 activision call of duty 2
