Hi Guys And Girls

Been having issue with the new servers getting the dreaded iw3mp.exe error.

I know we all have had this in the past since cod 4 came out and i done a bit of research from an old forum.

Weather it works forever i dont no but i was getting the error lately with the new servers and was really p****ing me off.

I tried this yesterday and worked with no error and it doesnt  do anything to your history on cod 4

Go to Activision Folder

select call of duty 4

open your miles folder

look for the Mssmp3.asi File

Rename it to Mssmp3.Bak

Then try out the new servers

It has worked for me for now so give it a go and hope it works

It don't work for me Sniper, never has, but there are so many possible fixes if you Google it that maybe different ones work for different people.

I t doesnt mess your mic or speaker setting or anything but maybe its a possible fix

I tried most of the other "fixes" but the "enable stereo mix" worked for me and no issues.  Mind you I have the realtek sound card so eh, kind of expected it to work,  Thank mate.
