Hello folks;

 

Tried a couple of times to upload the avatar I use for Xfire and other sites. Error message I receive is filepath too long.

Any guesses?

I think I remember having the same problem. I copied it to my desktop and had it find it there first. Not sure though?????But its still on my desktop now and I think If I remove it my Avitar will be gone from the site as well. Have not figgured that out either.

Hey Beer create a new folder right in the C:\ drive and call it Avatar.

Move your pic in there and then upload it to the website that way.

 

That will give you the shortest path to the pic.

 

Either that or create a Photobucket account and get it from there.

The path its refering to is the path on the server, is this Google Chrome by any chance ?

Thx Rockape, yeah, that's what I wanted. I'm running Opera for a browser. Tried moving the file a couple of times for a shorter path, but that wasn't the holdup.
