This has to be the absolute best headset I have ever graced my head with. HOLY SHIT AMAZING.

Ive always used a Razer product. Ive had the Tiamat, Kraken Chroma, And my latest that just crapped out on me, the Razer Megaladon. I was sick of paying these high prices $200 to $300 for headsets that seem no different than a $30 one. But im a a believe in the more you pay the better the quality with a lot of brands.

This time I did a load of research before I bought one, I looked at things like the weight, the ear cups, durability and of course sound quality. After all this I ended up purchasing the #1 rated Sennheiser PC363D. Well it arrived at my door today from Amazon, (shocked me being a Sunday delivery)

This is the exact one I purchased on sale for $229. Sounds like a lot  but was so so so worth it.

Well people, all I have to say is AMAZING. This is no doubt the best headset I have ever worn. Its weightless and comfortable and i can literally say that I hardly notice I have a headset on my head. The Mic as apparently made with the same technology as Pilots use in there headsets.. The Sound - WOW just WOW, totally amazing. I hear sounds in games, every game, that I have never heard before. And METALLICA... I Love them even more.. Music is fantastic, nothing like ive heard before.

So if anyone is in the marked for a new headset, this one has the KingStinger Stamp of approval.. I would likely never buy another Razer headset again.

I can confirm Sennheiser is a good brand. I've been all over the place in headphones and love my 350SE ones.

Is it a USB headset??

The model stinger linked is usb. The 350SE I use aren't if you don't want USB. They have a few different models available http://en-us.sennheiser.com/gaming-headsets

Is it a USB headset??

Yes it is, its really cool because it's actually both,

It plugs into this booster unit with standard plugs and it plugs to usb but you can plug it direct to your sound card as well7f321fdf9b5ba66320d8158c3c51458f.jpg

I paid $200.00 for  sennheiser earphones 15 years ago and have used them everyday since.  They sound great and show no signs of wearing out.  You get what you pay for with them.  By the way, they are Made in Ireland, or at least mine were.
