I posted a month or so ago about members who invest may want to look at AMC.  Next few months will be interesting.  Some speculate it could exceed $1,000 per share with all the "Short Sales" that happened and the Call coming in.  Still time to jump in !!  Currently around $20 per share.

Closed at $26.52   Tripled my investment in a few months.  Seems the Short sale idiots lost 1.3 billion in a few days.  Hope your 401k's are not with these hedge funds that participated in the shorting !!!

Don't think it'll hit 1000 or even close, will float around 50s imo...

Thanks Mike, but I'm too skittish. Rather stick with dividend paying stocks over the long haul. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, it's just a risk.

Yes it is.  Sad when Ford quit paying dividends.  But I thought they were going to start again some time in 2021.  Our Overstock stock really gained during the pandemic along with AMD.  But I have a small fund I play with and gamble on risky companies.  Some times it works other times I dump and take a loss to offset any gains.  Damn marihuana stocks during the pot rush a few years back were fun !!!  Some did great, others meh.   I remember way way back when cd roms were just hitting the market.  There was a company that had a new technology that far exceeded both speed and storage space of standard cd roms on the market.  We invested in it, and like any new tech, it was not adopted.  Sort of like the whole VHS/Beta thing.  Beta picture was far better and smaller, but it just didn't take off.  Sony's fault of course.  But Plextor dominated CD Roms and that company went under.  Cant remember its name for the life of me !!

Like VHS/Betamax, there were also the BD / HD-DVD wars that of course had an ultimate winner. But in this case BD was the better of the two from a technical and capabilities standpoint. However HD-DVD also lacked things like region locks and better DRM. Which various media and software companies didnt like. Funny since most BD's dont do region locks anymore. Microsoft of course went the HD-DVD route, for a couple years, so it didnt support or pay anything to their arch rival Sony.

A company to look at, it's not exciting, but it is consistent. Arcos-Dorados. ARCO on NYSE. Daily changes in price .13-.25 cents. Price range over the year varies from $5.00-10.00 a share. Buy on a Monday, sell on Tuesday after a quarter gain. Repeat on Wednesday. Week in and week out you'll be surprised at what you can accumulate for a small investment (or a large one if you're greedy).

As Daffy Duck says  "Im a greedy little miser" !!!  Thanks for the tip Beers !!  Will look at it.  I sure hope Biden doesn't make his cap gains changes retroactive !!  That can screw shit up.

All bets are off with this moldy bunch in charge. Dunno why they even tax anymore, they just make up monies out of fantasy. Nobody on the beltway has a clue how an actual economy functions, because they never were involved. 🙄
