Les Paul!!

The lead singer of the band Monster Truck borrowed one of my guitars about a year ago to do some recording, he loved the tone of the P90 pick ups. Well it was down at their jamspace so he got all the boys to sign it for me!!!

Hope you got it back !!!  But then again it is a Gibson.    Sorry, I've owned well over 20 Gibson's and have only found 2 keepers.  Quality is all over the place with Gibson.    I still have a Gibson Corvus II and a 2007 SG (GOTW) with three single coils and a chicken head pickup switch.  Both are hard to find and play great.  The Corvus was produced from 80-83 if I remember right.  So ugly it didn't sell well.  Was suppose to be a headless guitar, but Gibson changed their minds and put a headstock on it.  Crazy.  But get yours back !!!  Dont lend shit out !!!

I got it back last night and took the pics. Hes a close friend and legit musician. And hes the lead singer of my all time fav band lol, id loan him any of my axes without thinking twice. See him every wek or so so he aint getting away lmao!

Im a Gibby man 100% lol , thats my only Les Paul, only got it for the color and double cut look. All my others are SGs. I have a 2011 SG in TV Yellow, only 100 made that year and color sold exclussivly in Canada, then I have a '92 Standard SG, was my 1st SG. Then I have a '72 Deluxe that the lead guitarist of Monster Truck used to record their 1st album, got him to sign back of headstock for me. I also have a custom The Walking Dead guitar with a Les Paul body and all covered in Zombies. Only 215 made, my Pops won it in a contest and gave it to me. Ill toss up some pics shortly

I love to see that !!!  I just built a copy of the Gibson Corvus model and installed a Fishman pickup in it.  Those pickups are different.  Not a traditional copper wound pickup.   Very high gain.  More gain than EMG 81's !!  But also have a nice clean tone also when the volume is dialed back.   I put a Fender Tele style neck on it.  Love the neck.  So its a Fender Gibson inspired hybrid !!   I planning on buying a CNC router to do my own necks and too speed up body fabrication.  Laid everything out by hand on this one and used power hand tools.  Took a while.  But the results are outstanding.  

 

As far as other weird guitars.  I never owned a Dean Guitar and came across this Dean, Michael Shenker Strangers in the Night model years ago.   These I believe came out in 2012 ?  The bridge pickup on this model is the "Lights Out" pickup.  Very nice passive pickup.  I've played it handful of times (still minty fresh).    It mostly hangs on the wall    Not an expensive guitar by any means.   But it is extremely well made and plays great.

Here is the Walking Dead guitar, its made by Vision and its an ASG (Artist Series Guitar) they do amazing graphics on guitars from TV shows and big name bands, there are a few Iron Maiden ones that are amazing!!!!

They only made 215 of this one

Is it a wrap or airbrushed ?  I've wondered if wraps would stick to guitar bodies.  Guess I could "google" it

Triplets !!!  I love me a nice Fender !!  Never have any issues with Fender (unlike Gibson).  Sorry StormCrow.  I've had many Gibson's in the past and all had tuning stability issues and other problems.  Mechanically nothing I couldn't fix with a proper setup or replacement parts.  But the nitro finish they use is problematic.  Especially during the late 80's and 90's.  But Gibson's do hold their resale value.  Hopefully one day I will come across a nice Les Paul that I like.  I did have a early 80's wine red Les Paul Classic that I liked a lot.  That one stayed in tune !!  Plus the finish was fantastic.  Sold it.  Had a Les Paul Walnut too (80's) that played real nice.  That guitar looked like shit, but was all original and played like a champ.  Sold it to.  I have been on a G&L kick lately.  They make very nice guitars.

Its wrapped i believe, just says "affixed to mohogany body" in description
