Yes, the receiver has a 5.5" touchscreen and you see what the camera sees. There is a slight lag so it's not advisable to fly it "FPV" mode. Winnipeg Manitoba, flat as can be!
Default settings currently (I will delve further into video setting later) I was just anxious to fly.
That triple hop though! It took some work but I think I had that PB setup right. My error, if I remember correctly, had something to do with 32 vs 64bit files.
It has different modes for flying. Smart mode, which uses GPS telemetry data from all available satellites. In this mode it basically flies itself. Release the sticks and it will self level and maintain position, or you can have it return to its start position and land itself. It will move in the direction you move the stick regardless of drone orientation. Or Angle mode which is the more traditional method of pilot control where pilot input depends on which way the drone is facing. Video was taken outside city limits. I live by the airport and it wont even turn on in smart mode.
