My daughter had them whe she was about 10 yrs old and I being ignorant of them thought I had to stop her from choking on her tongue stuck my fingers in her mouth. I know duh that was a stupid thing to do but I still have my fingers. She was on meds for a couple years or so then without telling us she quit cold turkey not knowing she could have had a grand mall! Since then she has been symptom free. I thank God for that and I am so thankful she is living a normal happy life.
