It seems like in these days that society has become a throw away society. We live such that if we don't like what we have we just throw it away and get another one we do like, at least for the moment. I am having a hell of a time navigating around the site today! Am I the only one having this problem?

The update could have been for another program or hardware on his PC. I get updates all the time for Microsoft Office, my keyboard, all kinds of random shit that's unrelated to the operating system. Good point but then thats a good reason to change his updates to manual OK!

Pman I want to ask you a question as after some research I found out that the extended support for XP Pro was over in 2007 and you said you received some updates yesterday or today? Why would they send you updtaes after the extended support is over and done with? Maybe you need to set your updates to you decide what gets updated and what don't. I remember as a child growing up around my father. I remember I use to think he was weird. Now after I have raised 3 of my own I realize that is not so uncommon. Today some 45 years later I can see so much of his mannerism in the way I do things and the way I carry myself. For those of you who dont know I recently bought a new gaming mouse. I have been more than happy with it til the last couple weeks. It'sd started acting as if it has a compatibility issue with Windows 7. I had a Microsoft mouse that did exactly as this is doing now. Well tonight while playing the middle wheel acted as if it suddenly got off center such as the little shaft bent or slipped out of the hole which it fits into. I is now really tight and I can't scroll anything any more. I wonder if maybe it needs cleaning but I can't find any instructions (even on line) how to do said operation! If I could see a schematic of the housing maybe I could clean it, but I don't wanna ruin the guarantee! Any suggestions that I can do? I have already notified the company there is an issue! So I will wait if necessary.
