I am unable to find either the original post or a means to send direct messages any more.  I don't know if this means the web site is now over-complicated or I am losing my faculties.  Anyway, I shall not be attempting solo travel to Welwyn Garden City tomorrow as I am not up to it.  As many of you know, my wife hates me and won't accompany me anywhere.  My PC is also gone as are all my games.   I cannot afford a replacement just now so am buying a laptop for email, social media etc in the meantime.  I hope to be playing again in the summertime.  I am sorry to let you down, guys.  We will get together at some stage I am sure.  Love from Dave\ DeeJay\ Michael

You can put me down as a maybe.  I have gone as far as to check train times and fares and accessible room cost (£52).  Much depends on what the NHS proposes to do about my suspected cancer.  If they want me in hospital for a biopsy, that is where I shall be.  The venue looks good, nice and close to the railway station that I can get to via St Pancras and Kings X.  Might have to confirm nearer the time but it'd be great to meet up with the gang at last!   Would you propose dinner in the Beefeater?

I wonder if someone could post on my wall on Facebook to the effect that I have not died again but I shall not be able to stay in touch via that medium due to the behaviour of Zuckerberg's bots.
