Dark Asylumn ok other 4890 vc fan stopped working during chkkdsk will rerun tonight from what I can tell no shadows with dx7 but get them back with dx9 What brand of vc is it? I could manage to get a new bios from Sapphire just by emailing them. CHKDSK completed? After that HD-Tune?

Reason is that our member HAUPTMAN is also gone for 2/2,5 years and wants to have his tags due to that he is in the NAVY Duty and won't be back that quickly. Dark Asylumn got it set to run at restart will do that tonight when I go to bed have 500 gb of used space Yes that might take from 2 to 8 hours or so. After that, please run (the free version) of HD Tune to check health(tab). Do not do that before chkdsk /f /r. Let NTFS scan to do the work first.

Dark Asylumn it says I have dx11 but yet I have a 4890 which doesnt support dx11 could this be the culprit It is that your OS can support it. I have to admitt that I never checked it with my old 3870, but nice to know to test that I hope you can do the steps above first page. And know that chkdsk /f /r takes some hours, depending how large yours is (lmao).

I agree whats been said above. It can be the mod/maps or change it to dx7 and try it. Try also the following: 1) Start - Run and type in : DXDIAG Check the tab boxes and see if you have it all error free. Plus, if you run a 64bits OS, click on "64-bits DxDiag" button. be sure that all 3 are doing the DirectX-functions. 2) If your motherboard is supported with 2 PCI-E slots. Try a other slot. And maybe even try the other powercable. 3) Try driver agent(but dont buy it!), just to check if you are missing something. 4) Scan your harddrive by : chkdsk /f /r Reason is that sometimes people have issues with just one game and ended up with (a) bad block(s) on the HDD. I hope that helps :S

WiZiD I dont know what room you have in your case but I have an extra ATI 5770. Xray has a couple and likes them. It is really not that big. And will also play Crysis. Yes I love my twin 5770's

I wonder about the new Portals been made. Reason is that we implemented more plugins and have seen in the log, none were detected. But yes, the game is the issue. Please let me know if you have made a portal so I can look into the SQL database.
