Thank you all for the welcome! As I have stated before, I felt welcome the first time that I joined a game on one of your servers(many moons ago). It was a blast to interact (joke around or just bs with XI members!), Play the game the only way I know how without being harassed for how bad I was, and being welcomed every time I came back. Can't wait for open water and the walleye spawn. This is a pic of my daughter with a 28 1/4" Slob. She did all of the work!! Hook set, fight and landed it. All I did was net it!! Holy Shit was I nervous! Its on her wall now! I'm still looking for the 30 incher to display next to hers.

Broken rib or ribs suck!! Trying to stay as immobile even hurts. Worst for me was falling 25 feet. I fell around 10am and didn't get anything for pain until 3:30pm. Ortho surgeon came in and said "shattered, fractured and crushed" he was speaking about my heel. He also said "The heel is the worst bone to injure" Boy was he right!!!

I am a mediocre player at best(you already know this if you have had me on your team!). What is awesome about the idiots is that I can have a blast and enjoy myself without the pressure and criticism to have "perfect" playing skills. I am a proud US Army(airborne) veteran and I would like to say thank you to all veterans for their service. Again, thank you for your servers that allow me to have fun even when I seem to catch every grenade in my pocket and when I rush too fast at the beginning of a round!!!

Thanks for this!! It's true, we are the example that risk taking, adventure, and fun aren't things that can only happen on a screen! I wouldn't trade falling into 40 degree water because I slipped off of a 6 inch diameter tree that we put across a 12 foot wide creek. I lost at rock, paper, scissors so I had to go first! That was a cold 2 1/2 mile walk home! We lived near Moline, IL We would walk to the rail yard in Silvis, IL pick out which make(John Deere or IH) and model farm implement we would ride in and sit in the cab and ride until the train stopped or slowed enough. We would hitchhike back home. Yet, Here I am still. Yep, WE MADE IT!!

hey bob, sorry to read about what you are going through. I was working in iowa and fell 25 feet due to a faulty latch on a scissor lift door. I was told that a judge in iowa will never assign 50 percent responsibility to an employer unless there is an expensive(for the injured party) and lengthy lawsuit! How bogus!! Four surgeries and 5 years later, I am no longer an Ironworker and the settlement was less than what I could have made in 2.5 years at just my locals hourly wage. that is minus all of the retirement benefits and such that i would have earned working! I hope things work out for you. I have been there. I feel for you. ROOKIE

I'll be hitting the river hard in the next 2-3 weeks. I am also planning to go to DePere, WI to try for a hog on the fox river. If anyone is interested i have room for a second angler.
