ok, got an update
i had a really shitty day and it was all my fault. did too many stupid things.
so i get home, and start drinking.
while im sitting there and the room is spinning, i decide "hey, i should reload the OS, that will fix everything"
WRONG!
same issues
either the game still freezes up and have to restart comp with power button
or while in game, sound goes away and im left with a buzzing in my headphones and i walk around with no weapons or gear, the game locks up the comp.
tried running at lowest video settings.
tried running without antivirus running
so it has nothing to do with the old vc and its ATI drivers. thats the only thing i am sure about now, after all that fucking work.
this is everything that is loaded atm:
**added adobe reader after pic was taken**
any of those gonna cause an issue?? i wouldnt think so, but i dont know.
someone suggested checking the memory sticks. just want some clarification on that.
this is the info in the mobo user guide on the memory.
i have my sticks in A1 and A2. what would i do to check them? where do i move them to?
i wouldn't think it would be the memory sticks. before i changed the VC, i could run COD4 no problem with those sticks.
but now, with the same sticks and new VC, bad video lag and freezes in COD4.
but i guess its worth a try to see if it is them.
or i can just do this, which is what im leaning towards.
