  1. See KICKASS! Didnt know what to think, but went with bunch of buddies after a few cold brews and was freakin hilarious! 11 year old girl stole the lead role. Like Zombieland, which was also full of bloody gore and humor!! For more serious dramatic movie, try Edge of Darkness, which is also pretty good with Mel in his older years and an older role!
  2. Welcome Greener! Been fun playing ya in the COD5 DM server! I have to ask about the name - is it a reference to weed, like a few others in the clan?! You know, "mines greener than yours". And will kick your ass!! LOL
  3. Thanks for listening Rugger! I forget half the dang names, other than many of the "original" maps released. Beltot (farmhouse) and yes, the Indiana Jones ones are nice old favs. St. Mere Eglis, while a great map, has been up there FOREVER! But there have been so many, including some in the DM server now, I can't remember the names. I'll try to get a list of some we've had before that were good. Not sure how you guys find new ones or what is involved to have them modded for our servers, but a couple links with some cool looking CTF maps are: http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/maps/callofduty2/map.html or http://thecompanyhub.com/index.php/downloads/call-of-duty-world-at-war/maps.html or http://www.map-factory.org/call-of-duty-2 I'm sure you know of some of these sites. Anyone else got any requests?! Thanks again, Rugger for a BIG part of making this clan the BEST!!
  4. Seems like a long time since some new maps arrived on the COD2 CTF server. Notice attendance has been very light lately - many are in the DM server (Pete, Blindowl, Little Old Man - CTF regulars!). A few CTF maps have people bailing early, like Complex, Clarvioux, Desert Idiots). Got to be some old favs to put back up - Beltot, Indy and some that are now up in the DM server are also CTF maps. Missing the CTF game and hoping attendance goes back up! DM is good once in a while, but lack of strategy and teamwork makes it "ho-hum"! Just an opinion!! I know: "Opinions are like assholes....everyone has one"!
  5. Ya! Why can't we have awesome ads like those?!
  6. Missed you in the Boobies post!!
  7. That is Tooo funny!!
  8. And now another interesting developement... if I go in through Xfire, it works. But when I play with Xfire, the lag is horrible and to bad to play, which is why I have been closing Xfire before palying any COD game or server. Guess my PC has all it can handle running Windows 7 now. Hmmmmm? Guess I'll play DM in W@W and CTF in the COD2 CTF server, like I have since being a member! And, occassionally COD2 TDM.
  9. OK, so I give up on the HunkMegs error I was getting on the work PC.s while out of town. All your suggested fixes didn't work since I couldn't seem to change the value from 160. So I get back home to my PC. COD W@W works fine and COD2, CTF works fine, but when I try to play COD2 DM, the maps starts to load, then blacks out indefiunately. Any ideas on this one? I've deleted several old folders, but same result. Also found I can get in the other two XI servers - no problem getting into XI TDM and the XI Area 51 DM. The problem is only with the DM server IP 8.9.37.132 - maps display for 2-3 seconds, then disappears indefinately? Anyone seen this?
  10. MMMM...taste like gun powder!!
  11. Well, I'm wondering since this is a "work" laptop if there are some restrictions. I have tried numerous times, changing the resolution as explained in previous threads and I CAN NOT change this value from 160. It states it will change upon restarting, but stays at 160. It also states the 'latched value' is 256, but game still gives the error for some maps. Oh well, be home in three days and back to my PC. (I miss her!!) Thanks for the help though all...it is greatly appreciated.
  12. Thanks guys! Missed this thread before, but wasn't having issue until using this temp PC while away from home PC. Knew there was some explaination.
  13. Been getting a new error in COD DM server. States "Hunk Allocate Temp Memory - total 160 MB, 1 low, 158 high, needs more hunk bytes". Get with just a few of the maps. Can play some, but then no more reason than this error. Sounds like some others may be getting it, but playing on temp laptop while out of town, so not sure and have no mike.
  14. And more (still stuck in this hotel - getting battle withdrawls! You can bet I'll be in the servers tomorrow night!)!!
  15. OK. So I'm stuck here in this hotel for work and can't game for the next couple nights . So, without getting too raunchy, I thought I'd post some nice fresh boobies for you all since you're always looking for some (what else is there to do, eh?). Found a few good ones on this link from Pleeboy. I think it's a Dutch site, right Unexist? Enjoy!!
  16. That's a good one PWR!! Even my wife cracked up at that one!
  17. Welcome Sir! Been fun battling you in W@W!! Glad to see you joined the best clan out there!!
  18. Nothing so creative here, but a short story. Played LAN games at work for years with many, including my boss, NicktheGrip. Started with the old original 'Duke-Nukem' (Man I loved that FPS game - to bad it fell of the gaming world), Unreal Tounament, COD, CODUO, then COD2. Then the new prick management took away our games - booooohooooo! (I guess our German company didn't like us shooting the Germans...again!) Anyway, I started out with a few oddball names and eventually used "Hungarian Assassin". But then one of the games limited the name length and Assassin stopped at "Ass", which wasn't so good being a dude! One of my co-workers by then was calling me Lt. Laszlo (which is my real first name), so I've been LtLaszlo ever since. BTW, you'll see my brother in COD2 CTF occassionally, "Crazed Hungarian" and my son "LtTravis" (though Travis is usually in COD4 or MW2). Like BudSR, it's become a family affair!
  19. Welome aboard, you Idiots! It's about time! Been shooting at you three for a LONG TIME (and getting shot)! Blindowl and Little Old Man.....get W@W too so we can shoot some Bushape!
  20. That is FUNNY! Where do you find this stuff?!
  21. Good game! Could've went either way....now admit it. And as I recall, we won the first one. (Shouldn't there be a tie breaker or something?! LOL!) Hat's off, though and congrats to them! Was a great game, with the tie with seconds left in regulation. Was a nail biter for sure! Next time you won't be on home ice!!
  22. Sorry.....you stuck your foot in your mouth Lixx!!
  23. Way to go Gorilla! Exactly what I was going to post! You would think since their entire country is SNOW country, they could do better than that!! And hmm.....when's the last time a Canadian tean won the CUP?! Calgary, I think, a few years back! Go USA!! Or Sweden / Red Wings...hehehe!!
  24. 3 here. Drops down if I'm too vocal and/waking her up after she falls asleep on the sofa in adjoining room!! LOL She hates when I do that! DAMN YOU HOTH or WARDRAGON (my biggest nemesis in COD2)!!
  25. A while ago, my PC crashed, so had to re-format. I re-installed with Windows 7 as my new OS but found issues with severe lag, even in COD2, though I never had lag issues before with it. Thought I might need to give up on 7 after much "tweaking" to solve (video card updates, settings, etc.). Then noticed that in my running processes, there were three occurrences of Xfire running. Also found that entering COD2 through Xfire always lost my profile and made me setup again - every time. Not sure why this is happening, so just letting you all know why I'm not using Xfire. I use it to see who's playing what and drop a messae, but close before a get into games - I prefer in game talking. Also notice it plays MUCH better without Xfire running. BTW, in the processes, it says I'm running a 32 bit version and a 64 bit? I only installed once since crash, so why would it be running 32? Strange.
