I can be on the enemy list for shooting ya, but would hope to be on the friend list as a fellow XI, I know you will stick around, and I hope life treats you well as you do. Why is Vic sending me all these nude photos?...

Cant edit my last post but I just wanted to add that the truck otherwise is in A-1 shape and has been very well taken care of I just wanted to fix it right. My last Blazer ran till the doors fell off so I was hoping to get the same out of this one. Do you have any suggestions to get to the lower head bolts? I added you to Xfire so give me a shout I will be back and forth as doing some things around the house.

What do you mean why am I doing all this?

Its a 4.3, 120,000 miles. I got a timing chain but have not gotten to look at that part yet. Any info would be great I was wondering about valve clearance etc when it goes back together.

Nutcutter replied to Ruggerxi's topic in User Announcements
Congrats guys! xCaliber nice work and half-a-hump you must have finally finished one this time! (as Stormy said wipe yer chin) -
Well like I said its just the bottom row, and I wouldnt torque head bolts with a swivel. If cuss words helped get this thing fixed it would be washed, waxed and have a full tank of gas

93 ford explorer all sorts of problems...
Nutcutter replied to dawgy's topic in Automobile Repair Help
Well at least you got it sorted! -
Replacing the head gasket on my Blazer and nothing left but to remove the head, its on the driver side and I cannot get to the bottom row of bolts. I have the exhaust manifold loose but the steering column is in the way. If I remove the motor mount on that side and jack it up will that give me enough room? I dont see anyway to get the exhaust manifold out if I unhook it at the exhaust pipe? Help

There are a lot of ways to spend more than you need, I will look at this tomorrow. I would like to give better advice as I have had an aquarium for years. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/ is one of the best places I have seen for info, salt or freshwater, and everyone there has been through what you are now.
