  1. Thanks for the help, so far with your help I'm narrowing down the search, good call on the multi PCIe slots I did some reading and that's a good idea. and the processor is looking like the 955 or 965 depending on sales. I figure i can change cases later and just use a stock case i have from an old computer for now. the MOBO is proveing to be the hardest part as there are so many to chose from. I have a wishlist setup on new egg I'll post later. and the stripper was more fun to play with than the most 1337 rigg but the cost for playing was just too high to keep up ..LOL Also she was a Gamer an extra plus, we talked weapons and maps the whole time LOL
  2. Ok, where to start.... I built my current computer in November of 2004 and can still rock COD4 (just stripped to the bone) I got some money back on my taxes this year but spent a good chunk of it on a 23 yearold stripper (she was worth it, single dads deserve some fun sometimes too). Now i have some left and need to build up something to last me for a while. I'd like to go with: Phenom II Quadcore 3GHz + DDR3 Memory The hard part: I need to find a good mobo with decent on-board video and at least 1 PCIE x16 slot for a later graphics upgrade. sound does not matter, I use a USB headset. On-board NIC would be ok (if not i have extra cards) USB 3.0 if i can (for future use) Also I need a good O/S hardrive (nothing crazy big but fast would be great) and i need a power supply that will do the job and have enough to power the later graphics card. Any suggestions, recomendations, or advice would help. I'm looking at barebones / DIY kits for added value but have not yet found a good combo. total price range needs to stay in the low hundreds, and i'm not looking for the best of everything just a reliable update with room to expand later. Thanks for any help >XI< + friends ~Rob~

  4. Very good solution, to the problem! And very diplomatic Congrats to the reinstated members Make sure you clean your computer just in case of any thing that might have been on there that could have led to the pb scan that got you in the first place before you reinstall. INFO FROM THE WIKI: Global GUID bans and Hardware bans PunkBuster incorporates a system called global banning. Either the GUID (generated from the CD key[citation needed]) or parts of the computer hardware are banned from PunkBuster enabled servers. Most cheats simply will get a detection, but cheats that interfere with PunkBuster's software could get a global GUID ban. This will disallow access to PunkBuster enabled servers for that particular game. However, GUID bans can be easily bypassed by obtaining a different GUID. Cheats which are even more interfering could end up getting the user banned from all PunkBuster enabled games by a hardware ban. As of June 30, 2004, Even Balance has incorporated the usage of unique hardware identifiers to permanently ban players from all PunkBuster enabled servers who raise a violation that corresponds to hacking or interfering with PunkBuster's normal operation and therefore violating the EULA. Even Balance uses multiple private one-way hashes[citation needed] so that no serial number information for individual computers can be determined by admins or anyone else who may try to obtain this information from a hardware GUID. PunkBuster only gives a hardware ban if memory scans show that a cheat that is known to circumvent or disrupt PunkBuster's normal operation or its facilities is activated. As with previous PunkBuster GUID global bans, the new hardware GUID bans are permanent and will not be lifted. Even Balance has not disclosed which hardware parts are used to ban players, but trial and error has shown[citation needed] that the hardware GUID is based on the serial numbers of all available hard drives but not the MAC addresses. According to their EULA, Even Balance has the final say in matters of banning.

  11. Is there a reference any of you know for disallowed program drivers? I've gotten that in the past on other servers. I think it's due to somethingin the Catalyst control center for my X800 Pro AGP (yes I'm surprised as willit still runs...)
  12. As a teen i drove dads old car a 1976 Buick LeSaber 2D (Not Dads, His was silver and RAD I loved that car battleship!) First car I bought my self was a 1972 Chevelle Malibu 350 (not mine but same colors, also my back was lifted and front was dropped andhad better rims) I loved that car too, I was in it stuck in traffic when a 78dodge Journeymanextended work van crashed in to my rear @ 45MPH. 2 people were air-Evacked form thecars ahead of me I was pushed in to. I crawled out my window only ended up withwhiplash and 1 vertebra twisted sideways (took years before things moved backin to place..mostly) Car I bought after that was this 1970 Buick Skylark and I still have itthough my ex-wife is using it now and running it into the ground Now driving a beige 2002 Buick Century Dad sold me for driving around thekids. (No picture needed as your grandparents are driving one currently. I'mSure we all know what it looks like..LOL)
