try this..open up command prompt...type in ipconfig/flushdns,,,that will clean out traffic and hopefully get your ping down....[i've always had that problem] lol,,if nothing it will clear out the cache

what does he watch it on?,most blue ray,wii.gaming consoles have built in apps for net flix.accu weather and such...make sure he uses the wireless setup through whatever he is watching it through..and it shouldn't affect the bandwidth as much..if he has a network cable plugged into the router then the item he views his netflix through,then the bandwidth will be worse by quite a bit..wireless tends to stream it to memory,without affecting the wired connection as much..in my experiences anyways,i would try that first then let him know that your gaming is more important.lol.

Yep Cons : exept for specific needs (ex : professional, 3 screens with Photoshop, ....) no need to overclock the cpu, actuals i5 or i7 are enough faster. There is a real difference on the computer between a HDD or SSD or some different graphic cards but not really between overclocking CPU's. Just for bench... thats true most of the time.... but if you have a pretty fast GPU like a 580 GTX or the new highend ATI GPUs or a SLI/ CF setup the bottleneck of your sys will always be your CPU I am running 2x ATI 6970 in CF and I have a 4Ghz Core i5 750 OCed all you have to have is a good balance between CPU and GPU Totally agree...i have the GTX 580 SC,,,and an overclocked cpu is better for games like crysis..bf3,Batman,Mafia with direct x 11 titles...the overclocked cpu lets this baby scream....mine overclocks easily though it has an unlocked multiplier,,,but i agree bottlenecks are usually always caused by the cpu holding back the vid card.

I've got the i7 965 Extreme...never overclocked it yet.got it set to auto with c1e state and two other ones that bring the cpu out of idle state disabled in my mobo bios.i figure i can do that myself..lol

new ivy bridge is coming out....but sandy bridge is real cheap with i7 2600k,,,easily clocked to 4,0 and get a corsair liquid setup [single rad all in one never needs filling],to cool it probably for under six hundred bucks i would imagine...total for a rig that does 4.5 with ease...my bud [bADDger] has the sandy bridge board with the i7-2600 k and it smokes...asus pro deluxe b i believe it is.keep us posted on your setup i like this tech shit
