The day isn't done in the US yet, but I haven't got a scope for my M1911.

It could be a squirrel - there's lot of trees on Mars after all despite the hostile climate. Or, no, wait. That's Alaska. Alaska's got lots of trees.

No, just drilling for natural gas. The Netherlands is an OPEC country (pub trivia points there) and a lot of the gas is underneath built-up bits. They're not so happy up north, but the rest of the country gets cheap gas. -
I couldn't resist sharing.

No. It does not. This is a terrible thing you did here Bill, and I hope you will repent for your sins with a little of the lord's music... ...and quite a lot of Ministry. Or, you can do what I'm doing, and listen to some relaxing music. unplugged, loud, or girly. All three of them worked well as background noise while grinding the pistols in the BF4 double XP run we're having right now and to which I would invite you if only you would come play BF4 with us...

We are verifying the upcoming PC patch and making sure it is good to go. We are aiming to get this patch out the week of Dec 2. Right now, we don’t have a set date for it, but here’s what it will include. Stay tuned for more updates in the Battlefield 4 Control Room. PC Game Update Notes -Removed the blur effect on soldiers that appeared when Commanders were using EMP attacks -Fixed the audio bug where audio sometimes randomly dropped out while playing on certain multiplayer maps (typically Golmud Railway and Hainan Resort) -Fixed the "one-hit kill bug" where occasionally damage from a single bullet was applied multiple times - Fixed a common crash that would occur when exiting from the Single Player Campaign to Main Menu -Tweaked the network and computer performance screen to show proper values. Players can now test their computer and network connection and get recommendations if they need to adjust something to improve their gameplay experience.

You might not, but others do. Following commander's orders is also good for your squad score - massively so if your squad is playing reasonably well and your commander isn't ordering you to sit back and play with yourself. I guess having them in every night sort of proves that point. You only need 1 player in 25 to like the mode for there to be a commander on each team when the server is full after all. 4%... that's not a lot of people -
I have seen this but forgot what we did to resolve (record keeping is for humans, not ducks) but I have these as my last search hits for that day, one of these could be it. I think, with a tight squad, Obliteration is the best mode I have seen in BF thus far. As good as, maybe better than, CTF. But it hinges on a good squad of cooperating players willing to sacrifice their KD ratio for victory. I like DOM too though as an occasional thing. A little man on man action, BF4 style. i.e. no vehicles. As for Commander mode: I got bored with it, but having a commander is a big advantage and if his orders are followed, a great teamplay booster which strengthens OBL and CQL games. The best rounds I've had have had me ordering my squad around following commander's orders and working with squadmates to take and then hold the assigned flags or targets, or setting up a safe path for the bombcarrier. But to PLAY commander? No. In fact, HELL no. -
What did you do to get your account revoked though... as far as I know the only ways to do that is hacking, which you haven't done that I've seen (I've seen you play ) or being a complete 14-year-old on the forums and calling people things that you wouldn't call a kick-boxer in a dark alley (which is my World Wide Standard for Acceptable Anonymous Discourse on the Internet, as well as when meeting kick-boxers in dark alleys). Unless you were playing with a Russian key over VPN maybe. Anyway it's worked for me and my friends reasonably well. Not as rerliable as Steam, and the rights waiver is certainly disgusting, but this, no. Not seen this.

I hate TDM - passionately. There's no more useless way to waste time that could've been spent working as a team to complete objectives, instead of running around like headless chickens shooting randomply spawning people. And I'm definitely sure the EU HC server makes me do exactly that every once in a while, so... The EU HC box lets you vote for game modes, it runs TDM CQ and DOM when there's not many people in and OBL DOM and CQL when there are. DOMination is essentially TDM with flags to capture, which you will like if you like TDM. -
Battlefield4 Packet Loss Problems

If it doesn't, I really would consider making it Virgins problem and calling them a couple of times a day for a week or so till they get bored with you and send a tech out... or you could switch ISPs. I've been talking to two of my coworkers in the UK. My local IT manager I'd never heard swear until he extolled the virtues of having your home office connecting to the internet via Virgin. Problem at this stage is you've got a pretty good piece of diagnostic info to show them pointing to it being their problem, but you now have to get them to swallow it. -

Actually, just playing the support class will net you the RPK 12 all by itself. Turns out I have it and never did anything for it, just played a few rounds. -
There was a bug in BF3 that worked the other way round. If you went ADS, started firing, then let go of the ADS button (going to hipfire) while still firing, it would retain the ADS spread, recoil and re-centering values, letting you shoot as accurate as with ADS from the hip. A lot of people seem to be mistaking that for this. Not that that bug was much use to anyone except the very best players playing infantry only with M16a3s. Tried it with the M60 for a while but the handicap of having no crosshairs and the fact it's STILL an M60 which is still a piss-poor way of actually hitting anything made knowing how to work this bug utterly pointless.

Battlefield4 Packet Loss Problems
DuckyofDeath123 replied to Sonovabich's topic in Battlefield 4's Battlefield 4 Discussion
unless they've given you some horrid USB thing, your modem should be connected to your PC with a network cable. Since packets getting lost cross that cable, and having a bad one can cause these symptoms, it's worth taking that cable out of your pc and modem and plugging in another. -

I do see exactly what I showed you coming back in your own pictures - you hit the configure button in your 3rd picture. Did you try swapping out the cable? Switching ISPs could be a solution, but I'd give a go to just ruling out your own cable (which is easy) PC (also not hard) and then calling them first to see what they say rather than going whole hog and switching ISPs over what may or may not be their network problem. -
Battlefield4 Packet Loss Problems
DuckyofDeath123 replied to Sonovabich's topic in Battlefield 4's Battlefield 4 Discussion
You're already losing packets between your PC and your cable modem. There's also a big hike in lost packets halfway over the web, presumably at the end where yor provider connects to their peers. From the high level of those, it looks like the bulk of your lag is caused by something other than your PC, which is bad news. You can'tbe sure of that till you figure out why you're having problems commuincating to your own cable modem though. The first thing to try is pin point why you're having trouble before you ever get to your cable modem. You can certainly try swapping the network cable between your pc and the modem out. If the cable is bad, the problem will go away. Also, you can try lowering the speed of your connection to your modem, which if helpful could indicate a limited number of problems.. and if you don't have a network with other PCs, televisions and things in it, it might be an acceptable fix. To try this: right click the network icon in the system tray, and click as circled above. Hit change Adapter Settings in the new window. In the next window, right-click your network connection to your modem and hit Properties. In the NEXT pop-up window, hit Configure. Yet another pop-up window. Hit the Advanced tab, scroll down the porperty list, hit Speed & Duplex, and select 100 mbit full duplex. Hit Ok and kepe hitting Ok utons till you're out of all these windows I made you open. With the cable swapped and/or the speed lowered, try again and see if the packet loss to your cable modem has dropped. If it has not, grab a laptop or bring a friend over who has a laptop and have them hook up to your cable modem, and try their PC with pingplotter. If they have the same packetloss to your modem, the modem is at fault. If it is, call your provider and explain to them you may need a new modem. Either way, it may be worth calling them up since the big spike in loss halfway down to the server you've pinged indicates a problem in their network, more than yours... whether or not they will be able to do anything, or will be willing to, is vry much an unknown. -

OK, good data! so, you're losing packets to your very first hop. Since that's an external IP, I suspct your PC may be directly hooked up to your cable or DSL modem? That would mean you don't use your PC in a network at home? -

you can also apparently unlock dog tags by doing "missions" which you set up in battlelog. You pick a challenge, a map on which to complete it, and up to four people to challenge. In the next 48 hours everyone can try to ge tthe highest score or mot kills or whatever and at the end of the 48 hours you hould get... ehm, well, somehting. I've made a best recon challenge with you in it Ed. Get to sniping, laser painting and spawn beaconing. -

I'm not here to argue with you; I'm trying to help SOB. pingplotter will tell me what I need in five easy clicks any non-tech person can understand and do. good timing SOB, If it gets worse during the day, let pingplotter run while the connection is bad. If it doesn't show any lost packets to the first entry (your home router/modem) then it is indeed a problem in the internet. You can take a picture of any window by clicking it so it's active, and hitting Alt+PrtScr. Then start Paint, and hit CTRL+V (or click edit - Paste) and there's your picture. Save it somewhere you can find it, then in this forum click the Add Picture button and select "Upload" in the pop-up window; then simply find the picture and use it, and it will get uploaded and resized automagically.
